Now it is time to come into the light

It is time to put away all earthly cares and worries of our world, and to look up into the eyes of our creator God. This season is very special. It is a time that is full of love. Thousands of years ago it was the greatest love story ever toldmore love and grace than was ever given to this world. It is a story of compassion and love. Gods only son gave up his love for this world by dying on the old rugged cross for this world. Gods son, Jesus Christ, gave himself as a holy and living sacrifice to usholy and true. Could this world ever give a love sacrifice as Jesus did. 1 Peter 3: 14-22: 14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness sake, you are blessed. And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.[c] 15 But sanctify the Lord God[d] in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; 16 having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. 17 For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, 19 by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, 20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited[f] in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. 21 There is also an antitype which now saves usbaptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him. Learn to love your neighbor more than yourself. Stop fighting with other countries and learn peace and love. We are all one in Gods eye no matter what. If we do not stop fighting with each other we are going to blow each other off our beautiful world that God created for us to enjoy. All this hate is killing us and we do not even realize it. It is time to look around and see the beautiful things that God has provided for us to enjoy. We need to stop destroying everything we touch, and to stop wanting more and more material things. We need a giving heart to help and love our neighbors, and with Gods help we can make this happen. Are we going to be strong or weak? Now is the time to quiet ourselves and listen to our hearts. The day of the Lord is coming; are you ready? 2 Peter 3: 11-14 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15 and account that the longsuffering of our lord is salvation as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you.

Praise to God for His Everlasting Mercy

118 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

I called on the LORD in distress; The LORD answered me and set me in a broad place. 6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. All nations surrounded me, But in the name of the LORD I will destroy them. 11 They surrounded me, Yes, they surrounded me; But in the name of the LORD I will destroy them. 12 They surrounded me like bees; They were quenched like a fire of thorns; For in the name of the LORD I will destroy them. 13 You pushed me violently, that I might fall, But the LORD helped me. 14 The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.[a]

The voice of rejoicing and salvation Is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly. 16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly. 17 I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD. 18 The LORD has chastened me severely, But He has not given me over to death.

Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, And I will praise the LORD.

This is the gate of the LORD, Through which the righteous shall enter.

I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation.

The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. 23 This was the LORDs doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. 24 This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Save now, I pray, O LORD; O LORD, I pray, send now prosperity. 26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We have blessed you from the house of the LORD. 27 God is the LORD, And He has given us light; Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar. 28 You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You.
