1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
1.1 INTRODUCTION
CB900K is designed using the latest SMT technology and made in Japan. Built-in weigh indicator and tachometer made it possible to show the flow rate in single instrument. Built-in RS232 or RS485 interface for report printout or multi port communication. 2 built-in remote display output port. CB900K is suitable for various kinds of application such as bulk packed material incoming and outgoing stock control for food processing, mining, metallurgical, chemical and tobacco industry.

3. OPERATION
3.1 GENERAL RULES
Do not install the CB900K in direct sunshine, and avoid sudden temperature changes, vibration or wind. Best performance is achieved when temperature is about 20or 68and the relative humidity is about 50%. Ground the CB900K via the power cable to the rear terminal and ensure a good ground connection. Do not ground directly to other equipment. Analog input/output signals are sensitive to electrical noise. Do not bind these cables together as it could result in cross-talk interference. Please also keep them well away from AC power cable, and keep all cable as short as possible. If the local AC electrical supply fluctuates by more than10% an AC regulator must be used in order to stabilize the power and reduce power spikes.

5. FUNCTION SETTING

Enter the correct password if the password was set in the system. Press E key to set parameter. Press C key to select next parameter. Press RESET key to return to the normal weighing mode.
E key : Store the data entry or skip to the next step. RESET key : Press this key to return to the normal weighing mode. C key : Clear the data entry. If parameter is selected to be modified, the lowest digit will be flashing and waiting for data entry. Before pressing the Enter key, data can be cleared by pressing C key and original data will be restored.

The weighting hopper may be vibrated due to its resonant frequency and external vibration. This may cause the indication to show an unstable reading. If system is very a lot, select the higher rank, otherwise select the lower rank. Press E key to go to next step.

At the normal condition, the default rate is set to 0. When actual speed < cut off speed, set the flow rate to be 0. When actual speedcut off speed, the default speed is used for the system belt speed. When default rate is 0, the actual speed is used.

Speed calibration: Single pulse length is set by the total length of belt(L), number of loop (n) and the number of pulse generated during the running period (p), and record to the EERROM. Calibration condition: a) Set the parameter for the speed input as follows: Input type = 0 (pulse) P.input = 0.000 After modification, calibration has to be carried out. b) After pressing power-ON, the value of P.input will be checked. If P.input is 0, then speed calibration will be carried out. c) The value for ttl.L and n can only be entered once.

This means that: P.inPut = (0.5 1000)/50 = 10.000mm Note: Set the length/pulse in mm.

When the power is turned on, accumulation starts from the time when the speed and weight cleared to zero are detected. Accumulation total (only for format 1) When the power is turned on, the total value is read from the EEPROM and accumulation starts from the time when the speed and weight are detected. 4. The same concept is applied to both belt weight and flow counter.

This is the length required for the system to start batch operation. In order to prevent incorrect total accumulation in this period, the total accumulative function is not activated. Press numeric key to enter the belt reload length (0.0000~19999m)

Press numeric key to enter the dynamic tare value (0.0001~19999kg). This value can be updated to current dynamic tare value automatically when the dynamic tare is completed, and the value must be converted so that its decimal point and unit correspond to those of the weight measured-value. For the flow counter, this value is not set.

Press 0 or 1 to select keyboard lock function, 0 = unlock, 1 = lock. Even if the keyboard is locked, the Func, C, E, R or 0~9 keys can be operated. This lock can be released from the key or RS232/RS485.

If any alarm occurs, select manual or automatic method to reset alarm. The alarm no. can be occurred at the same time. For example: 60=20+40, it means the flow rate and speed are overflowed at the same time.

Condition for calibration: 1. No motion, no material on the belt and no dust found at the weighting parts.. 2. If the load cell sensitivity is more than 2mV/V, please set the ST2 and ST62 on the PCB of CB900K to the Low gain position. Press E key to activate the zero calibration mode or press C key to skip the zero calibration mode. 16.1.2.ERROR CODE DURING CALIBRATION Error 3: Zero voltage too low(less than 40 V). Please check the wiring between load cell and indicator. Error 4: Zero voltage too high (more than11mV at Low gain or 14mV at High gain.)
Press E key to activate the span calibration, or press RESET key to return to the normal weighing mode. Condition for calibration: 1. It is required the standard weight greaten than the 10% of the weighting capacity for calibration. 2. The weight must be placed in the center of platform. 3. 100 Input sensitivity 10000 Resolution=Input value/(Span Multiplier). If Error 1 occurs, it means the resolution is too low or too high. 4. Input sensitivity less than or equal to 0.5 V/V. Input sensitivity=Input voltage/resolution. If Error 5 occurs, it means the sensitivity is too high.

16.1.4. OTHER ERROR CODE DEFINITION Error 2: The span voltage is less than or equal to zero voltage. Error 3: Input voltage too high(more than 33.0mV when ST2 and ST62 at the Low gain position, or more than 21.5mV when ST2 and ST62 at the High gain position ).
16.2.1 LOOP SETTING METHOD Press CAL+3 keys at normal weighing mode,2 seconds later, display as below:

Setting the Loop range from 1 to 99 times, If press the C key, re-setting is made after cancellation, If press E key, the a cumulative TOTAL value is cleared after the lapse of 2 seconds, then start is made. 16.2.2 TIME SETTING METHOD Press CAL+3 keys at normal weighting mode, 2 seconds later, display as below:

And then press 0 key to activate the TIME setting method . Setting the time range from 1 to 999 times, If the C key, re-setting is made after cancellation, If press the E key, the TOTAL value is cleared after the lapse of 2 seconds then start is made.
