 2 years experience working in Document Control in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General

 Handling of all documentation and document flows on a project in accordance with


established working routines and project procedures
 This include engineering, supplier , customer provided and manufacturing documents
 Carrying out other documentation tasks as directed by Department Manager
 Document Controller must be prepared to take on new/changed responsibilities.

Limitations

 Document Controller shall in all his/her work follow governing documents and directions
given by Department Manager, Department Project Coordinator or Senior Document

Duties

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

o Provide support to functional departments within the company which includes the

o Challenge the functional managers from a financial perspective, particularly in relation to


the achievement of margins, overhead control and cash management.

o Assists in the overall financial management of the company and contributes to the
development of the management information systems.

QS ENGINEER – 1 POSITION (QM)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 In general, and in support of the other supply chain personnel, provide a local focal point
for all supplier quality and technical matters and to act in the supervision of any Contract
QS engineers as may be assigned to the role from time to time.
 Liaise with Supplier, Customer and Third Party QS representatives in pursuance of and
compliance with contractual obligations.
 Conduct witness and hold tests on selected suppliers
 Document and manage witness and hold program for selected suppliers
 Conduct and report on vendor audits in accordance within an approved audit schedule
 Conduct ad hoc audits or investigations into particular supplier quality problems so that
root causes are identified and effective corrective and preventive measures are put in place
within the NCR and CAPA Management Systems
 Document and manage to root cause vendor NCR for selected suppliers
 Evaluation and approval of potential suppliers prior to their addition to the Approved
Vendor List (AVL) in order to maintain a supply base capable of supporting Malaysia
objectives.
 Conduct audits of suppliers as required and/or to investigate particular quality problems to
achieve the above requirement.
 Provide guidance and general support and awareness training to all supply chain managers
and supervisors (and others) in the operation, maintenance and continual improvement of
the company’s NCR and supplier CAPA systems.
 Assist in the maintenance and revision as required, of Aker Solutions Malaysia Supply Chain
processes and procedures.
 Provision and development of periodic reports on vendor performance indicators and
trends.
 Provision of direction, guidance, support and development of a Quality culture within
supplier base.

• Academic qualifications:
• Engineering degree holder with at least 2 years of experience in QA/QC function and

• Engineering Diploma holder.

• SPM and/or Technical Certificate school/institute with at least 7 years of working
experience in QA/QC function and supplier development.
• Vocational qualifications:
• Preferably a Lead Assessors Course with examination pass (recognised by IRCA)
• A recognised Quality Assurance or Quality Management qualification/ experience.
• Formal training the new ISO 9001:2000 Standard and audit training to the new Standard
would be distinctly advantageous.
• Note:
• Candidates/job-holders without the relevant formal qualifications above but possessing
other academic or vocational qualifications or who can demonstrate a greater level of
relevant practical experience with a proven track-record may be considered equally
competent. Additionally, candidates/job holders with higher academic qualifications may be

• Added Experience:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Responsible for the materials and welding technology within the Manufacturing Centre and
performs these duties by applying his technical expertise in a professional manner in order
to comply with prescribed objectives.

 Verifying compliance with applicable materials codes, standards and Customer


requirements through to the approval of drawings, designs and specifications.

 Involves participation in design layouts, design calculations, design reviews and design
verification.
 Responsible for analysing the materials content , selecting the optimum materials for
construction and advising on substitute materials
 Will write and approve Technical Specifications covering all aspects of materials (welding,
heat treatment, coating, etc.) and will comply with the Engineering Departmental
Procedures which form part of the overall Quality System Manual.
 required to provide technical support to any other Department as required
 Visit customers on an as needed basis to verify technical details of orders.
 Organise own workload allocation to meet agreed project timescales.
 Approve materials for engineering designs for manufacture

 Qualified to Degree level or equivalent in Metallurgy, Welding Technology; Mechanical or


Materials Science.
 At least six (6) years relevant experience in an engineering background.
 Have a working knowledge of oil industry working techniques and ideally will have had
exposure to highly complex welding processes.
 Be a good communicator and have good presentational skills.

equipment and activities which are both upstream and downstream from his job function.

DOCUMENT QUALITY CHECK – 2 POSITIONS (QM)


SALARY: RM 3000 – 4000

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ensuring that all related work activites to handling of documentations and
document flows on a project carried out efficiently.

• Responsible for the daily working routines and procedures related to documentation and
documentations flows in cooperation with Project and Department Manager are carried out
efficiently.

• Responsible for the efficient maintenance of project archieves

• Must be prepared to take on new/changed responsibilities

• Ensure that quality control system is implemented and followed on projects

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


• To Supervise QC operations in daily basis

• Carry out all inspection and quality monitoring as per approved procedures, client’s
specifications approved code and standards

• To monitor inspection and testing progress in the project

• Liaise with the client representative in all aspects in inspection and testing

• To assist QM Manager in resolving any Non Conformance raise

• Liaise with client, third party Inspector, DOSH, Authorized Inspector (IA) with regards to all
QA/QC issues.

• Compile QA/QC Data Book as per the approved Manufacturer’s Data Book index

• Assist QC Manager in implementing, maintaining, developing, improving the Quality


Assurance and Control with regards to ISO 9001 requirement

 Expediting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Responsible for Final Inspection of the site deliverables.


 Cooperate with the Project Mechanical Completion Coordinator, or act as an Inspector and
Coordinator on the project.
 The MC Inspector shall, in all his work, follow thegoverning documents and directions given
by AKS management.
 In matters that have far-reaching financial- or operational consequences for the Project or
the MC-group in general, the Project MC Inspector/Coordinator shall propose solutions to
the Global MC Manager prior to implementation of changed systems or routines.
 Maintain the electronically MC system together with the Project MC Coordinator.
 Perform Final MC on equipment due to delivery schedule from local site.
 Perform Final MC with client.
 Cooperate with QS, QC, DCC and the Project Engineering to enable Final Delivery from the
Project to the Client, according to Global Procedures, Contract and Client specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• In general, and in support of the other Quality Personnel, provide a local focal point for
all delegated Quality matters and to act in the supervision of any Contract QA engineers
as may be assigned to the role from time to time.
• Prepare and issue for use, Project Quality Plans, Surveillance Plans, Inspection & test
plan and Certification Plans in order to ensure functional departments, especially
engineering, procurement and production, are aware of contractual Quality
requirements.

• Perform random inspection on product to ensure that the quality requirements are met
