VOTE LABOUR 22 MAY in Berks, Bucks, Hants & Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxon, Surrey & Sussex
The
Spring 2014
Labour's Anneliese Dodds and John Howarth celebrate Ed Miliband's successful campaign which has forced some of the energy companies to freeze bills
Across the South East children will benefit from Labours childcare plan. Well pay for this by a tougher levy on the banks. Under David Cameron the banks are paying almost 3 billion less in tax than they did in 2010. It cannot be right that when times are tough the banks are paying less tax while working families pay more. Thats why Labour will force banks to pay their fair share and use that money to help young families give their kids the best possible start in life.
From Milton Keynes to Margate and everywhere in between, Labour is working hard for you and your family.
But David Cameron has done nothing to stop the big energy companies putting up prices while making record profits. Labour is standing up for hardworking people and pensioners being ripped off by the energy companies.
Labours gas and electricity bill freeze will save the average family 120 a year. And we will reset the broken energy market and create a tough new regulator to stop overcharging. Find out how much you could save at labour.org.uk/energy.

We need Labour MEPs who will work hard for people in South East England Anneliese Dodds and John Howarth are leading Labours challenge on 22 May Anneliese says, Voters face a big choice. What sort of Europe do we want: a Europe for bankers and big business, or a Europe for everyone? Right now people all over the UK are struggling with the cost of living, working really hard to pay their bills while the Tories hand out tax cuts to millionaires. I want to speak up for people against powerful interests and see a better future for our young people struggling to find jobs. John and Anneliese have pledged to work hard in Europe to secure new jobs and the investment in infrastructure and skills the South East needs to compete effectively in a modern economy. They will defend your rights at work, as a parent and as a consumer rights the Conservatives and UKIP want to scrap. Anneliese and John will also support the
fight against organised crime, terrorism and people trafficking in Europe; and would vote against any measure that would force NHS privatisation. John says, We want to see a strong Britain in a better Europe. If we are going to get to grips with the huge corporations who avoid paying tax and the big firms that trade across borders on the Internet but dont contribute their fair share, we have to win changes in Europe to make it happen. I want to be an MEP who stands up for British people.'' Every Labour vote, everywhere will count In the elections for the European Parliament we vote as part of the South East England European Constituency. The area includes many strong Labour towns and cities. MEPs are elected in proportion to the number of votes each party gets. So every single vote helps Labour win more MEPs to stand up for local people, local jobs and local communities.
