I FORGOT MY PASSWORD
* To reset your password select I Forgot my password from the login screen.
* You will be redirected to the reset password screen where you will be required to enter your login email address.
* You will receive an onscreen confirmation followed by an e-mail with a link to reset your password. * Select Close This Window to be returned to the login screen.
* Click on the link in your e-mail to be redirected to the screen to reset your password.
* Enter your new password and click update. This will return you back to the login screen. You can now login using your new password.
* New Users Create Account pop-up message: Are you a NASA or JPL personnel or NASAbadged contractor? This question requires an answer before continuing.
Choose No unless you are employed by NASA, JPL or are a NASA-badged Contractor, then click Next
* Current Users: Login at any time to update personal information, such as change of address or password.
* New Users: Enter all information as accurately as possible. Please note that fields in BOLD are required fields.
* If you do not see your Country on the drop down list, please choose other at the bottom of the drop down list.
* The inclusion of a cell phone number as your primary or secondary phone is recommended. It would only be used incase of an emergency event cancellation.

The system categorizes your password strength as you type from weak to strong. * Prior to creating an account, you must acknowledge you have read and agreed to the FIRST privacy policy. * The inclusion of a cell phone number as your primary or secondary phone is recommended. THANK YOU PAGE * New Users: You must now check the e-mail account which you used in the previous section to finish the registration and screening process.
Click the link OR copy and past the URL into your browser.
* Open the e-mail (shown on right) and click the link to activate your account.
ACCOUNT ACTIVATION * New Users: Please login to VIMS to complete your registration.
Click Login
* New Users: Please read the FIRST Volunteer Terms & Conditions. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you agree to the current screening policy as presented by FIRST.
* Current Users: Please note you will be asked to read and agree to the Terms and Conditions once a year.
Click I have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and select OK
If your Affiliation/Organization is not in the drop down list, please select not listed and enter your Affiliation/Organization in the data field provided.
Click Submit
EXPERTISE * All Users: This optional section will allow the Volunteer Coordinator / Event Volunteer Manager to see your expertise and any FIRST affiliations you have. * Years of Service Pins: This section allows you to select the Years of Service Pins that you are entitled to for your volunteer services but have not yet received.
* Click Submit
Click Apply for an Event to choose the Program, Region and Event that you would like to volunteer for.
Roles that you have applied for will display in this section.
Select the Program and State / Province that you would like to search for Events
This section gives a summary of the event dates and location. You can choose up to (5) roles to apply to per event.
Provides a detailed explanation of the role Indicate which days you would like to volunteer.
