Awards/ Activities/ Other Achieved Eagle Scout rank, the highest honor in the Boy Scouts. Graduated High School in the Space and Engineering Program, which required college level classes and a high, well maintained GPA. I have worked with large companies such as EA Games, 2K Games, SEGA, Double Fine Productions, Sony of America, Live Nation, AT&T, Capcom, Gamestop, Tell Tale Games, and many more.

Rsum
This is a montage of three images plus a line of text. I shot for an inspirational and good feeling image. The objective was to create a montage of three images and photography, and I did that, but I did not want mine to feel like a regular montage. I do not think it has to be obnoxious or clearly a conglomeration of pictures that do not come together well, and I did my best to combine these pictures without making it feel overly forced. Programs Used: Adobe Photoshop Message: I have a love for nature and the quiet natural outdoor scene this picture portrays. I also have a love for music and feel that music is and can be inspired by many natural sounds and that nature really does create music.

Montage

Brochure
I set up the folds in Adobe Indesign, using a simple and clean tri-fold to accentuate the pictures at the bottom of the inside of the brochure. The way the brochure folds closed, the colors of the inside and the outside designs are visible together when opened and create a pleasing contrast from the red purples at the night sunset to the calming blues and greens on a sunny day. The black and white outside contrasts as well with the light colors and black text on the inside. I selected a map from the Monterey area and cut it to a circle shape, then used photoshop to make a transparent background and copied that into Indesign and used text-wrap to move the text around the circle shape. I also used illustrator to add a red map pinpoint icon into the picture showing where the business would be located. Programs Used: Adobe InDesign/Adobe Illustrator/Adobe Photoshop Message: Inform my audience about the Ukelele Away company, and give more detailed information about the company. I am showing them through the brochure where the company began, what they do, their hours and availability, the companies credibility, and the style and authenticity of the Ukulele Away brand. Audience: Musicians, those interested in learning ukulele, people vacationing in the area, etc.

Logos
I created three logos for a non-existant company called Red Leaf co. The logos were all meant to be stylish and trendy as if for a clothing company like Diamond, HUF. the Hundreds or even OBEY whos logos are not necessarily connected to the clothing they make. Programs Used: Adobe Illustrator Message: Red Leaf co. is cool, looks cool, and you want to show off the logo and designs made by the company on all your clothing. Dont follow everyone else and pay for overpriced logos, represent a cooler company and keep things natural.

Audience: Those interested in looking cool like other big name companies but would like a more natural-esque style instead of money, gold, and diamonds.

Letterhead
This is a letterhead I designed for another non-existant company, this time an eatery in San Francisco. This letterhead was created with a logo I created for this project and was intended to feel like it was a plate, i may continue to tinker with it and add extra dimension by turning it more to an angle. Programs Used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign Message: Cake Cuisine Omega is a sophisticated eatery on the Pier in San Francisco. that serves both food and exquisite cakes. Audience: Foodies, tourists, and high class pastry lovers with an eye for elegance.

Photodesign
This project was meant to demonstrate my photography and image editing skills together. I used a simple photo and added another image on top, then used masks to pull out selected pieces of the background to the foreground. There was also some shapes and wording added at the bottom to display the proper information. Programs Used: Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign Message: The Symphony Orchestra is playing on March 10th and sales begin soon. Audience: This is directed at the general public, to attract attention with the attractive visuals and to bring as many people as possible to the event.

Color scheme and color names: Complementary, orange and blue.

Photograhy
This project allowed me to show off my photography and photo-editing skills. I thoroughly enjoyed this project and feel my pictures came out very well, as planned. Event Ad
The goal of this project was to use Microsoft Word to effectively put together an advertisement for an event. I feel that I was able to do so, and created this ad for a charity event put on my Trader Joes, a healthy and popular grocery store. The event being a farmers market in Rexburg Idaho, with half of proeceeds being donated to local orphanages. Programs Used: Microsoft Word Message: There will be a Charity Benefit Event hosted by Trader Joes in downtown Rexburg with benefits going to local orphanages, come and have a good time while helping a greater cause. Audience: Anyone the ad can reach, with an emphasis that the event is fancy.

Top Thing Learned: How to use Microsoft Word as a design tool instead of just a word processor.

Flier
This project is a flier for the Graduate Leadership Conference hosted by Vouant Communications. A conference for graduating seniors in college to meet possible employers, enlarge their networks, and gain leadership skills in real world applicable situations. Message: Gain skills in leadership and have opportunities to even find jobs and network, at this event hosted by Vouant Communications. For graduating seniors only. Audience: Graduating seniors interested in gaining or refining leadership skills, networking and job opportunities, serious applicants only. Title Font Name & Category: Adobe Gurmukhi an Old Style font very similar to the font used in the Vouant Communications company image that had to be used in the flier. Copy Font Name & Category: Calibri a sans serif font that is similar to Adobe Gurmukhi but different enough to stand out, simple clean and easy to read.
