Introduction
Executive Summary
According to the current market scenario, basic needs and wants of the
general items and food items, fashion, cosmetics and furnishing goods are
growing day by day. Due to that we thought to open a small IQRA Super
Store at National Highway, Ranipur, Where we want to facilitate each and
every customer at the proper list price.
Our Super Store is unique from others because where we are going to open a
Super Store there is no any other Super Store which provides all facility to
customers, like general, cosmetics items, Garments, Shoes, and food items.
Company Overview:
At National Highway, Ranipur there are already lots of stores like shoes
shops, general stores, garments shops, medical and grocery shops and so on
shops are there, but at National Highway, Ranipur there is no any big super
store that provides all products at one place like artificial jewelry, shoes,
cosmetics, general, cosmetics and other stationary at same store. That’s why
we have decided to open an IQRA Super Store at Ranipur. This super Store
will be located at National Highway, Ranipur . The building and its out look
will be decorated effective, attractive and contain on ground floor. National
Highway is financial hub of Ranipur, and is ideal for to attract and facilitate
customers at right time and right place.
The internal and external design of Super Store will be very attractive, also a
wide space inside the store for parking purpose the display of products will
be in attractive and easy to pick form, so that our customers will not face any
difficulty to purchase any product.
Objectives:
Our main objective is to satisfy our customers, by:
• To provide all the products at one place.
• To facilitate customers in terms of product and service.
• To provide good quality products.
• To satisfy our customers.
• To make good relations with our customers.
• To sell products at reasonable price.
• To facilitate the people of Ranipur.
• To capture more market share by satisfying our customers.
Marketing Plan
1. Market Environment:
It is important to put the new venture in a proper market by concluding an
environment analysis to identify new trends and changes occurring in a
national and international level that may impact on the new venture, so wee
will keep in mind these things.
1. Economist:
The Entrepreneur should consider trends in the GNP, unemployment, by
geographic area, disposable income and so on.
2. Culture:
An evaluation of cultural changes may consider shifts in the population by
demographic feature.
3. Technology:
Advancement in technology is difficult to predict, however the entrepreneur
should consider potential technological developments, determined by
resources provided by the firm and the government.
Legal Concerns:
There are many legal issues in starting a new venture; The entrepreneur
should be prepared for any future legislation that may affect the product or
service, channel of distribution, price or promotion strategy.
1. Four Ps:
The four Ps contains four important factors.
1. Product:
The products of the store are durable and according to the needs and wants
of the customers, the price is comparable with competitors. In IQRA Super
store we will available all varieties of the products to satisfy or value to the
customers, after reaching to the peak we will introduce new products.
2. Place:
The placement is centrally located, the customers will easily get the
products, the place is the main factor of success for any business to beat the
competitors and motivate the customers according to their needs and wants.
3. Price:
The price of the items are reasonable and touch the mind of customers, in the
pricing strategy we set 10% profit margin in the first year, if the competition
will increase than we will set the low price strategy and we will give some
other incentives to our customers.
4. Promotion:
Promotional activities consist of the direct and indirect, in the promotional
activities we will inform our customers regarding the super store, products,
and the company name, in the promotional activities we will give different
type of incentives to the customers to increase loyalty and increase the sale
of the business.
For the super store advertisement we wills elect the print as well as
electronic media, we will advertise on radio, local magazines, news papers,
cable, FM and other channel of advertisement.
The Environment of the Super store is based on the basic two factors:
1. Physical factor:
In the physical factor we analyze the store design, front shape, land
structure, construction process and physical architectures.
2. Psychological Factor:
The Psychological factor denote the image of the store, basically the image
building is a tough job but we will try our best to satisfy our customers by
giving them good quality products & services, incentives, packages, we will
solve their problems regarding products, internal display of store, soft music
with low volume to comfort the customers. These all things we will perform
to create a good image of the super store in the mind of the customers.
The store image is created from the physical and psychological factors,
quality products, and good behavior of the employees to wards customers,
display of products and furniture which is used in the internal portion of the
store.

2. Size Perception:
The size is the main component of the store design, in the broader size the
customer feel safety, security and there are fewer chances of goods to be
defective because the goods can be easily damaged.
3. Shape Perception:
The shape creates good impression on the customers, the vertical shape
creates comfort and strength to the customer, horizontal shape creates
stability and easy access ness to the customers, curve shape creates
instability and diagonal shape creates ups and down movement of the eyes
or perception.
3. Color perception:
In the color perception the customer choose the colorful products packing,
colors can attract the behavior of customers to wards product, to buy the
product, due to the color perception the people buy more products, the
customers don’t have the need for that product but he purchase due to its
colors attraction.
Products/Services Plan:
Actually our super store will provide all products like general items, shoes,
stationary, garments and cosmetics to attract the mind of customers; we have
categorized the products below:
1. General Items:
Shampoo, Cream, Powder, Shaving cream, Perfume, Beauty Soap, Tooth
brush &Paste, Bathing Towel, Gel, Tissue Papers and also the cosmetics we
will provide in our Super Store.
2. Garments Items:
In our Super Store we will provide both kind of garments, Ladies garments
and Gents garments. In ladies garments Baba suits, Baby suits, Sharara,
Bootique etc, In Gents Garments Paints, shirts, Ties, Knit wears, full suits(3
piece), Socks and so on will be available at IQRA super Store.
Also the uniforms of schools and collages will be available at our Super
Store.
5. Stationary Items:
Note Books, copies, Pens, Razors, Show pieces, Pencils, Stapler, Eraser and
other stationary will be available at IQRA Super Store.
Keys to Success:
The Team is committed able and there will be a manager from team, the
manager will be committed to motivate whole the staff in achieving the goal
of store operations, there will be a centralized organizational structure,
because all activities will be handled by staff under the supervision of the
selected manager. Staff will be appointed according to job specification and
job description.

Personal plan
Operation Plan:
As we know that our business is merchandise and in merchandise business
the buying and selling process is involved, we purchase the goods directly
from the valuable companies, which have a good image regarding quality
products in the market, than we will sale these products to customers at low
profit margin. The whole process of buying and selling will be controlled by
the manager. In the operation plan the manager get work from the employees
who are directly related with the work which is performed by them
according to their job specification.
Equipments:
1. There will be need of Points of Sale (POS) machine to facilitate the debit
and credit card holders.
2. We will also arrange In vice Machine which take amount and prints the
bill on paper.
Inventory Requirement:
As we know that the population of is 500,000, So over all sale of mixed
items are required 20,000. The inventory requirement is fulfilled on the daily
& weekly basis.
Also a ware house will be required, where we store the extra items, and also
the faulty items to return the company.
Financial Plan:
The total investment is estimated about 10 millions, of which 72% will be
paid by partners and remaining amount we will borrow from the bank. The
land will be purchased on cash payment at the cost of 700,000, and other
500,000 on the construction of building. Also 1,50,000 for the furniture and
decoration purpose, remaining amount will be used to purchase A to Z items
of the store, Also we will spend some amount on the promotional activities
like: Advertising( key chains, shopper with store name and logo), wall
chalking, Advertisement on FM and cable.
Start up summary
This is a merchandising Business, and we have decided to invest
10 millions of which we 6 partners are investing mutually 7.2
millions and 2.8 millions we will borrow from bank.
