Family Size: The family size in the planning area is calculated as 4.51 persons per household. General Re ulations
All the plots registered prior to coming into force of freeze of existing land use shall be treated as plots irrespecti e of their size and shape sub!ect to the condition that ".00 metres #ide path abutting one side of the plot #ill be the basic re$uirement. %f ".00 m #ide path is not a ailable at site and if it is lesser in #idth then the o#ner should surrender the remaining area from his plot to ma&e the path ".00 metres #ide. The height limitations of regulations shall not apply to all &ind of religious buildings e.g. Temples' (agyashala)s' *os$ues' +urud#aras and ,hurches etc. pro ided it is so designed and appro ed by the -irector. The chimneys' ele ators' poles' tan&s and other pro!ections not used for human occupancy may extend abo e the prescribed height limit. The cornices and #indo# sills may also pro!ect into any re$uired yard. .here it is essential to de elop a plot by cutting of natural profile shall not exceed more than one storey /".500 metres in any case ha ing a pro ision of diaphragm #all for step housing. 1o #all' fence and hedge along any yard or plot shall exceed 1.50 metres in height. *erely the prescription of norms for the pro ision of socio6cultural facilities is not enough as there are certain ital issues in ol ed #ith their pro ision #hich are as follo#s5 a. %t has generally been obser ed that the religious buildings come up on encroached sites and especiallyE those meant for open spaces. %n fact' !ust the pro ision of 400 s$.m. area for a population of 5'000 is not enough. %t is not to say that the area is inade$uate but effort should be made by the de elopment agencies' #ith the assistance of 1+D)s in the area' to ensure that the places of #orship come up as planned #ith the participation and preferences of the community itself. ,ommunity hall/multi6purpose05 ;ouse ,luster Fe el The small par&s3open spaces should also be de eloped #ith the community hall to suit the cultural and beha ioural needs of the society.
