o Xenon headlights for low and high beam,
with automatic headlight range control,
significantly improve road illumination at night,
in bad weather or poor visibility. In combination
with the optional Adaptive Headlights,
they illuminate bends via electro-mechanical
movement of the headlights when the driver
turns the steering wheel.
o Wind deflector makes open-top driving
more pleasurable by reducing irritating drafts
and annoying isolated turbulence in the
shoulder and neck region. The wind deflector
is easy to operate and can be stowed away
compactly in the luggage compartment.
s Fin roof, fully-automatic. Sets unprecedented
standards in noise insulation. In connection
with the retractable rear window, it offers very
effective ventilation of the vehicle interior.
When closed, it gives the convertible a typical
coup-like silhouette; when opened, it is
stowed in the soft top compartment fitted in the
luggage compartment. Available in grey or
black.
s Glass rear window, vertically retractable,
can be raised and lowered independently of the
soft top. When the roof is closed and the rear
window is lowered, the interior is effectively
ventilated for a pleasant climate. When the roof
is open, the raised rear window improves the
comfort of rear seat passengers.
o Radial-spoke styling 118 with runflat tyres,
8 J x 18" rims, 245/45 R 18 tyres (standard on
the 650i).
o Double-spoke styling 120 with mixed
runflat tyres, 8 J x 18" rims with 245/45 R 18
tyres at the front, 9 J x 18" rims with 275/40 R
18 tyres at the rear.
o Ellipsoid styling 121 with mixed runflat
tyres, 8.5 J x 19" rims with 245/40 R 19 tyres at
the front, 9 J x 19" rims with 275/35 R 19 tyres
at the rear.
o Styling 218 with mixed runat tyres, 8.5 J x

8.8 inch colour display, including Radio BMW

s HiFi loudspeaker system with ten speakers
for brilliant sound.
o HiFi system Professional LOGIC7
provides an enormously rich, intense acoustic
experience, with 13 loudspeakers (11 in
the Convertible) creating a near-perfect
soundstage. The central bass concept allows
for highly authentic reproduction of bass
frequencies via sill-mounted subwoofers.
o Head-Up Display conveys important
information such as current speed directly in
the drivers field of vision. Direction arrows from
the navigation system, Active Cruise Control
functions and Check Control data can also be
displayed.
o BMW Night Vision uses an infrared camera
to detect people and animals beyond the scope
of the headlights at a distance of up to 300
metres. The camera's image appears in the
Control Display, enabling you to avoid danger in
good time on poorly lit roads.
s Driving Dynamic Control (sport mode), at
the touch of a button, engine response to the
accelerator becomes even more spontaneous.
With the automatic gearbox, the sport
programme is automatically selected, and
with SMG gear shifts occur faster. Steering
assistance is also reduced for improved feel of
the road, and cruise control accelerates faster.

upholstery depicted above). Pronounced side
bolsters ensure optimal lateral support in all

practice? It means that all the requirements of recycling are taken into account from the start, in the
