ESTUDIO DE OFERTA Y DEMANDA PARA PROGRAMAS DE

TITULO: FORMACIN AVANZADA DIRIGIDA A TECNLOGOS EN
BUCARAMANGA Y SU REA METROPOLITANA

RESUMEN
Debido a los cambios que se han presentado en la internacionalizacin de la
economa, a raz de los avances en produccin, innovacin tecnolgica y controles
de calidad, se han generado en las organizaciones nuevas necesidades con
respecto al personal tecnlogo que labora en las mismas, en consecuencia con lo
anterior, se ha planteado la necesidad de explorar el sector empresarial y
educativo, con el propsito de identificar las necesidades que no han sido
cubiertas en las reas de formacin tecnolgica, para asi determinar la aceptacin
de programas de postgrado a nivel de especializacin para tecnlogos en la
ciudad de Bucaramanga.
Para alcanzar lo anterior, se utiliz la metodologa del estudio de mercados,
especifcamente una investigacin de tipo descriptivo y donde el diseo es de tipo
no experimental con un alcance transeccional; aparte de ello, se utiliz un
muestreo no probabilstico por conveniencia, donde la muestra era elegida
siguiendo la comodidad del investigador.
Se encontr que actualmente existe un gran desconocimiento sobre la posibilidad
que tienen los tecnlogos de realizar especializaciones a nivel de tecnologas y
que les permitira suplir eso vacos que no han sido cubiertos por los programas
de formacin que actualmente son ofrecidos. A parte de esto, el sector
empresarial manifest eran las reas de formacin donde se requiere
principalmente tecnlogos especializados, los cuales deben estar asociados a

programas especficos de formacin contable, financiera, de produccin y

administrativo.
En el estudio de oferta y demanda de programas de formacin avanzada dirigida a
tecnlogos se logr dar insumos suficientes para el futuro desarrollo de programas
a nivel de especializacin tecnolgica en la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, los
cuales deberan estar enfocados en las 2 grandes reas que manifest el sector
productivo (Ingeniera, Arquitectura, Urbanismo y afines; y Economa,
Administracin, Contadura y afines), las cuales en la universidad se tiene la
experiencia suficiente para ofrecer dichos programas.

ABSTRACT
Because of the changes that have occurred in the internationalization of the
economy as a result of advances in production, technological innovation and
quality controls have generated new needs in the organizations specifically in the
technological personal working in those organizations, as a result of the foregoing,
it has raised the need to explore the business and education sector with the aim of
identifying the needs that have not been covered in the areas of technological
training, to determine the acceptance of programs of graduate to the level of
specialization for technologists in the city of Bucaramanga.
To achieve this, we used the market research methodology, specifically a
descriptive research and where the design is non-experimental with a transactional
scope, apart from that, we used a convenience non-probability sampling, where the
sample was chosen according to the convenience of the investigator.
It was found that there is currently a lack of knowledge about the possibility for
technologists to perform at the level of technology specializations that allow them
to fill gaps that have not been covered by training programs that are currently
offered. Apart from this, the business sector said they were the training areas
which require mainly specialized technologists, which must be related to specific
training programs for accounting, finance, production and administrative staff.

In the study of offer and demand for advanced training programs aimed at
technologists was achieved to give sufficient input for future program development
at the level of technological expertise at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana,
which should be focused on the 2 big areas that expressed the productive sector
(Engineering, Architecture, Urbanism and the like; and Economics, Management,
Accounting and the like), which the university has the expertise to offer such
programs.
