Very tasty, I added green peppers (red and green) for extra flavour.
to the layers I omitted the beans and taco mix and added tomatoes, green onions and jalapinos I have a picky familly.
I make a very similiar recipe - refried beans layer, avacado layer (mashed with lemon and mayo)then seasoned sour cream layer, diced tomatoes, chopped green onions, sliced black olive sprinkled with tex mex cheese
I've made a dip by mixing cream cheese and sour together, layer that on bottom then you can add a layer of beef or chicken mixed with taco seasoning, then salsa, green onions and then cheese, I then put it in the oven until the cheese melts....I serve it with nacho chips. It's a croud pleaser.

This recipe is a hit with my friends. To add an extra kick I mix a tablespoon of the taco seasoning to the sour cream! It's easy to make and there's never any left over after the party.
Quick and easy to put together and tastes fantastic - always a huge hit when I make it! I usually use low fat sour cream and low fat cheese to help cut some calories.
This dip is very tasty. I will make it again for any pot luck. gelechv
You can't really go wrong with 7 layer dip. I added some taco seasoning to the sour cream and the beans the day before so the flavors would come through.
Excellent dish, used it for an appetizer party. All my other dishes were difficult recipes but this one slipped right in. Thanks even my Grandson liked it

(he's 4).
Everyone was asking for the recipe when I made this dip for a party. They can't stop eating it.
WOW!
Did not like at all. Even added some chopped tomato-it didn't help. Very bland.
This dip is AMAZING!!! I made it for a family gathering and everyone raved about it. I only used about 1/2 cup of sour cream and made two layers of black olives. Absolutely delicious!!!
I mix the sour cream with cream cheese for a smoother consistency. It's always a hit and it has been requested so often I'm almost tired of it!!
I added my own touch to this. I mixed the refried beans with the salsa. I mixed the sour cream with the taco seasoning mix and added the rest on top. I eat this with nachos for great results every time!
Made this for a party and it got gobbled up -- everyone loved it.

I've had more raves about this dip than any other I've made!
The best dip ever! I make it without the refried beans for a lighter touch. I haven't met anyone yet who didn't love this dip re: with chips, crackers, baguette, nachos, etc.
Let's just say when i had some friends over the other night this dip didn't last longer than 10 mins!!!
Easy and a big hit at parties. I omit the olives and it was still awesome. I will totally make this again.
i did this recipe for my parents anniversary party and everyone loved it! It was a big hit!
The first time I made this dip it was a big hit. Now I make it every party I have.

When my fiance invites the guys over to watch football, this is one of the dishes I will make. They fall upon it like they haven't eaten for a week.
This was very simple and served as a great appetizer. However the main complaint was that the beef got cold and the cheese topping remained solid. After piling all the ingredients I realized it would ruin the rest of the layers to warm it up again. Next time I would serve the dish while the meat is warm and the salsa cool. I would also melt the cheese directly onto the chips.
Was a big hit. Very filling, very easy, and it looked nice.
I've made this several times. I added a layer of guacamole and some jalapeno peppers.

I make this at all of my BBQ's as one of the day's appetizers. Everyone loves it!
Amazing!!!!!!!!
it's a good meatless alternative, for your vegetarian teenager, also a tasty potluck dish for your summer gatherings.

I added a layer of guacamole and brought it to a baby shower, and to a kitchen gadget party. Each time I brought home an empty dish. I used a deeper dish then a pie plate though. and a few sliced jalepenos never hurts either!
This one of my favorites with a few tweaks. I also add a layer of cooked ground meat (cold) after the beans, mix the taco seasoning with the sour

cream(easier) and add chopped tomatoes on top. Then I also need a deeper, larger dish and spread it right out to the edges and serve it with nacho chips. Delicious!
