On Wednesday, April 2nd, students and staff at Viscount Alexander will be taking part in World Autism Day. Everyone is asked to wear blue, and we will be taking part in a bubble-blowing activity to help raise awareness for those living with autism. On Saturday, April 5th, some of our students will be taking part in the United Counties Science Fair at St. Lawrence Secondary School. On behalf of all students and staff, we would like to wish all of our participating students good luck! Approximately sixty students have been preparing for our up-coming production of Cinderella Junior, which will take place on May 5th and 6th. More specific information about show times will be sent home shortly. We would like to thank Mlle. Leclerc, Mrs. Lalonde, and Mme. Aikman, as well as our parent volunteers for all of their hard work preparing our students for this wonderful experience! Lastly, we would like to congratulate Mrs. Pam Lalonde, who has accepted a Program Resource Teacher position, effective Monday, April 7th. Mrs. Lalonde will be greatly missed, especially for her passion towards music and the arts. On behalf of our entire school community, I would like to wish Mrs. Lalonde all the best in her new role! Please be aware that the following documentation is mandatory, before the start of school in the fall: 1) proof of age (e.g. birth or baptismal certificate), 2) immunization record. EQAO Provincial Testing Parents and guardians of students in grade 3 and 6 are reminded that this years EQAO testing will take place between May 26th -June 6th.
