E"" #Thailand$ is the largest private language school in Thailand9 with a networ7 o+ schools in 4ang7o7 and all over Thailand9 +rom "hiang 5ai in the north to :ala in the south. Innovation and development

The teacher training centre o+ E"" #Thailand$ was established in <== with the aim o+ improving the 3ualit( o+ in&house teaching and to provide pre&service and in& service training +or other teachers in Thailand. In <<8 the teacher training centre was accredited to run the "TE>-0 #now the "E-T0$. In 28839 we held the +irst :- Extension to "E-T0 course in Thailand. In March 288'9 we opened our second teaching training centre in Phu7et and in /eptember 288) we opened a third centre in "hiang Mai.

The training courses

The training centre runs a variet( o+ teacher training courses. 0part +rom the "E-T09 the centre runs the +ollowing courses? :- Extension to "E-T09 a pre&service Introduction to TE/O- course9 a Teaching English to :oung -earners course and a Teaching 4usiness English course. 0ll the above courses are +ull( accredited b( the ministr( o+ education in Thailand. "ourses can be ta7en at all our teacher training centres. @e o++er the Teaching !nowledge Test Preparation course in 4ang7o7 and at other locations on re3uest.

The T!T Preparation "ourse is designed to give candidates the tools and the 7nowledge to complete the T!T to the best o+ their abilit(. The Teacher !nowledge Test #T!T$ was developed b( "ambridge E/O- +or teachers o+ English to spea7ers o+ other languages. The T!T aims to test candidatesB 7nowledge o+ concepts related to language9 language use and the bac7ground to and practice o+ language teaching and learning. TKT Preparation Course Entry Require ents and Cost

Entr4e+ore starting the T!T preparation course candidates should complete an application +orm and a pre&course tas7. I+ candidates can show evidence o+ English abilit( #e.g. PET or "ouncil o+ Europe 4 gained within the last two (ears$9 then the( do not have to complete the pre&course tas7. Candidates will only be allowed to take the TKT Preparation Course onl- once with ECC (Thailand).

"ourses will run with a minimum o+ 2 +ull( paid candidates per course. The maximum number o+ candidates per course will be 28. Places are allocated on a +irst come basis. @here an individual school would li7e to send a larger number o+ teachers to be trained9 this can be arranged on a case&b(&case basis.
