California Grade 5 Social Studies Standards and Correlating Literature

All of the books listed have high reviews, are significantly historically accurate, around 5 th grade reading level, and many are on the core reading list and/or have received awards and medals. There is also a wide variety of books and perspectives represented here, all in line with the 5 th grade Social Studies and English Language Arts standards.
