If autostart is disabled on your system, foll ow these instructions: Microsoft Windows ----------------Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. Locate the drive with the label 'Hansel'. Double-click on this drive to open the root folder. Double-click on 'Start.exe' to run the application.

Macintosh --------Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. Locate the volume with the label 'Hansel'. Double-click on this volume to open the root folder. Double-click on 'Start.osx' to run the application.

-3- H E L P Use the following information, to help you navigate through this CD-ROM, and acc ess the resources it provides to you. HOME

The HOME page of this application, displays the following sections/links: 1. Preface 2. Image Bank 3. Help 1. Preface - Select this link for an introduction to the Image Bank. 2. Image Bank - Select 'Image Bank' link to access the Table of Contents (TOC) for the figures and legends found in Pocket Pathology. - The TOC displays only those chapters that contain the images. - Use the navigational buttons displayed at the bottom of the TOC page, to navig ate through the table of contents. - Click on a chapter title to access the images created for that particular chap ter. - The 'Image Bank' appears with a thumbnail view of each figure, along with the figure's legend. - Click on the 'Save/View PDF' button to open the image in PDF format. - Click on the 'Save/View JPG' button to open the image in JPG format. - Use the Search option to search for an image based on legend text. - To return to the main menu, click the 'Chapters' button displayed at the top r ight hand corner of the screen. 3. Help - Select 'Help' link to open the help topics, which guide the user to understand the functionality of this application.
