GETTING THE
LOOK
Welcome to the rst edition of f Style High. This is your personal guide with all our top tips on uniform, hair, beauty and male grooming. I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed being involved with this very exciting project. I wanted to create a grooming guide that reects the pride of our cabin crew, who truly love to look great in their uniform. I cant wait to see the new uniform items, especially the dresses, being worn around the network. The support from the cabin crew and head ofce departments has been amazing and truly reects the easyJet spirit. The easyJet brand is represented every day by you, the cabin crew, and this is why all the models in this edition are cabin crew. They are our ight ambassadors who else could we have asked to reect our image? A huge thanks goes to our cabin crew models: Natalie Puncher, Kendal Evans, Emma Bond, Elaine Taylor Green, Matt Illman and Christian DAndrea. Angie Mullen
Welcome
Its been six years since weve had a refresh, but I think theyre all pieces which we should be really proud to wear. A big thanks to everyone who took part in the wearer trials, whether you were one of the lucky wearers or gave us your feedback. Your comments and suggestions helped us to rene the designs. Im really excited to be sharing our new uniform pieces with you theyre a fantastic addition to our working wardrobe. As well as the exciting introduction of dresses, new waistcoats and accessories to our collection, youll also notice some other changes. The colour orange is used to accessorise the uniform, rather than being a main feature. Im looking forward to seeing you wearing the new pieces on our ights across the network. HAIR WAYS
Hair that falls below the collar is to be worn in one of the following styles
HOT TIP
Keep loose strands at bay with hair grips
We love:
Black or dark grey scrunchies. Black or dark grey hair bands, or colour to match natural hair. A maximum of four unobtrusive black, grey, tortoiseshell or natural hair colour slides or combs. Natural hair colour grips. A thin, single Alice band that matches the natural hair colour, no bigger than 1cm in width One braided hair band may be worn, but must match the natural hair colour. This must be only of one braid to keep the rest of the hair neat.

FRENCH ROLL
A French Roll, or French Twist, is one of the most elegant of hairstyles. Begin by brushing the hair over to one side then use grips (and hairspray) to secure it. Next, twist the hair around your hand in the opposite direction to the one you initially brushed in. When nished, the hair will form a downward pointing cone that can be fastened with clips.

PLAITED PONYTAIL
WE LOVE
Small or medium Bumpits doughnuts
As with the bun, give hair a thorough brushing so it is as smooth as possible and then make a neat tight ponytail, using a band or scrunchie. Divide hair into three sections of equal size and then plait it and secure at the bottom with a second hair tie. One plaited ponytail, worn no higher than in the centre at the back of the head, is permitted. Secure it with a maximum of two bands/scrunchies.
THE BUN
2
The perennially popular bun is one of the most versatile hairdos it can range from functional to downright fancy, depending on how you wear it, and it has the advantage of being pretty fail-safe in terms of loose hair not escaping. There are a number of ways of doing it, but one of the best is to begin by giving hair a really good brush through, then making a ponytail. You can then use the hair from the ponytail by turning it back in towards the scalp and securing it with a second band or scrunchie to form the bun.
Good to go
Ponytail (loose without plait) One ponytail, worn no higher than in the centre at the back of the head, is permitted. Must be no longer than 8 inches/20cm. French plait One French plait, worn no higher than in the centre at the back of the head, is permitted. Must be secured with a maximum of one band or scrunchie. Wigs, weaves, hair extensions, toupees and hair pieces for men and women must be indistinguishable, well-groomed and securely tted. They should blend with the wearers natural hair colour.

MAKE UP
The cabin lighting can have a draining eect on your natural skin tone, therefore make-up is a must
Facial make-up which may take the form of foundation, powder or tinted moisturiser should be chosen to match your skin tone and give a healthy glow. This can be complemented by a sweep of blusher to accentuate cheekbones. Lipstick or lip gloss in a subtle shade is the perfect nishing touch. Black or brown mascara will elongate lashes, while earthtoned eye shadow will make eyes stand out, alongside a nice black or brown eyeliner (which should not be swept outside the eye). Blusher or bronzer should complement your natural skin tone

Re-apply your make-up throughout the day, but this should not be done in front of passengers

Prepare the skin by splashing it with warm water this will soften the bristles and open the pores.
You may use a annel soaked in warm water to further warm the face and get skin ready.
Once your face is lathered with shaving soap or cream, use a razor with a very sharp blade to remove stubble.
Finally, clean the lather and bristles off your face with warm water and apply an after-shave lotion or moisturiser to protect skin.

NO THANKS!
YES PLEASE!
The tousled look has no place onboard. Hair is to be neat and tidy and styled away from the face no hair sweeping across the forehead or long fringes, boy band-style! But we dont want passengers to see that youve fussed over the appearance of your hair it should look effortless. So please, no brushing, combing or styling in public. Obvious colouring, highlighting and two-tone shading are also best avoided, along with the over-gelled wet look style, and, of course, ponytails, mohicans, tramlines and other extreme shaved styles. At the risk of sounding fussy: only hair spikes up to 1.5 inches (38mm) will be accepted; likewise, hair on the neck must not extend beyond the back of the collar and should be shaved regularly. Any new style must be gradually phased in, with no severe changes in length. Sideburns must be even in width, neatly trimmed and styled in the same manner as the haircut, and must not extend beyond the base of the earlobe.
MENS MAKE-UP Although we do not encourage men to wear make-up, if you wish to do so it must look natural and complement your skin tone. Tinted moisturiser and concealer are acceptable.
