DIARY DAY 4, DATE: 2 July 2013 MORNING SESSION (fairly hot) OBJECTIVE: -To transfer the data from

previous data into the TRIMMAP software -Using the layer and entities to create different symbol and shape We gathered at the survey lab around 8.45 am. One of instructor, Mr. Mokhtar had gave us the instruction to each group. Group 1 to 5 should stay in the lab to continue transfer the data into the software whereas, the rest of remaining group went to surveying field to do the tacheometry works. As the third group, we must stay at lab. Around 9.15 am, Mr. Mokhtar teaches us how to use the TRIMMAP more efficient and the correct ways. He told about the usage of layer and entities to make our computerize mapping more accurate and more understandable. The learning and teaching lesson around 40 minutes. After that, we applied what Mr. Mokhtar by applying all the information and the correct tactic to our TIRIMMAP. We manage to input all the data to software provided successfully. We also began to input our data from yesterday evening. EVENING SESSION (fairly hot) OBJECTIVE - To collect all the data needed to make the second mapping -Do the tacheometry surveying The evening session started around 1pm. We took all needed instrument to make the tacheometry works. We set up the total station at P2 that located near the Zaba library. We use boundary stone 105 to conform our accuracy of our point. Then, we processed to tacheometry work. We manage to get 60 point before 6 pm. We collected all the needed data such as horizontal and vertical distance, bearing and reduce leveling of each point. These data are needed to transfer into the TRIMMAP software. All of group gathered at the lab around 8.30 pm to start the presentation session. Leader of our group for today Faiz Najmi Bin Abdullah present our work to all the instructors. The session end around 10.30 pm.

DIARY DAY 3, DATE: 1 July 2013 MORNING SESSION (unstable weather; rainy and windy) OBJECTIVE: -To determine the coordinates of control station. We gathered at the survey lab around 8.45 am. We prepared the instrument required for doing the traversing work at the field. Only five groups were allowed to do the traversing work as to avoid too much crowd on the field. We began to shoot at BS105 as reference point from BS106 to confirm the WCB and their distance is the same as on the plan given. The first point we took was P2 near the engineering faculty, then P4 (near the main road), P5 (near the lakeside), P1 (near the main library) and P3 (near the big shady tree). From the Total Station device, we acquired several important information from it on how to determine the coordinates of control stations which were north and east coordinate and horizontal distance. Problem we faced was the weather is unstable as it is suddenly rainy and windy. So we took much time to set up and packed the Total Station to keep it safe from rain and strong wind. Other than that, we have to wait for other group to finish first their traversing because every group had to use the boundary stones as reference point and instrument station. We also agreed that multiple observers to take reading will make the error become greater so we only stick one observer to take the reading. EVENING SESSION (unstable weather; rainy and windy) OBJECTIVE: - To learn the Trimmap software. The evening session started around 1pm. We stayed at the survey lab to learn the Trimmap software. We were assigned
