Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

God knows we like to find things out ourselves so He has hidden the answers to our lives within Himself.
Proverbs 25:2, It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron, and his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

I am faithful in that which is least and I am faithful also in much. Luke 16:10 I obey and it is better than sacrifice. I Samuel 15:22 I humble myself and I shall be exalted. Matthew 23:12

God has all our answers. As we grow closer to Him we begin to know and understand the plans he has for our lives. His plans are for us to do well and be peaceful; to have a future and a hope. We do not always understand Gods ways of doing things, but we can trust Him to lead us in the right way. That is why it is so important for us to listen with careful attention for His instructions. The plans God had for Zechariah were too hard for him to believe so God caused him to be mute for a period of time while God put the plan into action. In Kings 19, God worked through Elijah to destroy the worship of false gods. Right after his great victory, Elijah was attacked with fear and doubt. God took him to a place where he could rest and be quiet. God knew that in this safe place Elijah would hear him and get the answers he needed to do the Lords work. Paul found answers in his dream. God wants you to come to Him for answers.
