Project Collaboration System (Team Management)

Abstract:
In every construction project, there is involvement of multiple team-players and their individual efforts have to be coordinated in a timely manner. Sharing and synchronizing information exchange among diverse team players requires a comprehensive project collaboration system that is easily accessible and manageable. Project collaboration system offer several opportunities for this purpose. Team Management: The idea behind designing this module is to have an online application where the Team Member can manage different sections like viewing different Project Documents available, managing their Profile, Writing Test and assess their skills, Getting the Result of the test. This module is divided into Three sub modules.

MODULES:
PROJECT DOCUMENT:

The first module involves designing the view Project Document module. The view module contains a list of different Project Documents. On clicking any of the available Documents, the Project details are visible. The Project Document application consists of information in tabular form with fields like Project Title, Send by, Date. The actions field consists of the the PDF links for each Project Document. A search GUI is developed for searching for the particular Project Document. ONLINE TEST: The second module involves design of online test module. On clicking the test your skills button, the Team Member is supposed to be directed to this module. It contains the view in form of questions and multiple choice buttons and a next button at the end. The designer can design only one such page with a submit button instead or several pages with the submit button on the last page. On clicking the submit page, the Team Member will be directed to a dialog box indicating results for the test. The dialog box would contain details like the number of questions, number of questions attempted, and number of correct answers, percentage and status of qualification.

 PROJECT ASSIGINED:

The third module is the design of project assigned form. This page can be accessed by clicking the Status Button .This page contains information about the project assigned to the team member by the Project Manager& The remarks of the project manager on the online test given by the member.
