The extinction ratio refers to the ratio between the average optical power of the transmitted signal (reflected optical signal) and that of the empty signal (non-reflected optical signal) in the case of the worst reflection condition and full modulation. The extinction ratio indices for each optical interface provided by the OptiX 155/622H are shown in Table C-5.
