ApproachDomains*are*yourcharacterApproaches.SoaFlashywizardwillnothavetoo separateApproachRatingsforFlashyoneforcastingspellsandoneforperformingmundane actions. APPROACHDOMAINS CAREFUL:WithitsattentiontodetailsanddeliberatemethodsCarefulmagiccovershealing, divination,readingobjects,creatingmagicalartifacts,ritualmagic,andmajorsummoningspells. This domainisprimarilyconcernedwithcreatingSituationalAspectsusingspellsthatentangle, befuddle,bind,stun,andblindindividualsorentireZones.Clevermagiccanalsodothingslike createanAspectofRottedStructureonthebeamssupportingplatformwhereenemyarchers arefiringfrom. FLASHY:FlashymagicdrawsattentionandistheDomainofillusions,lightshows, transformation,andminorsummoningseverythingfrom50ofropetoapackofethereal minionsthatappearinapuffoffireandbrimstonetofightonyourbehalf. FORCEFUL:ForcefulmagicistheDomainofthebattlemage.Fireballs,forceshields,magic missiles,invisiblefists,andchainlightningaresomeexamples.SorcerersandDemontouched areoftenForcefulmagicusers,asitistheDomainthatismostrawandemotional. THECOSTOFMAGIC Whataretherequirementsofusingmagicinyoursetting?Belowaresomeideas,butofcourse,

feelfreetouse,modify,orignorethemasbestfitsyourgame. ASPECTS:AmagicusermusthaveanAspect,usuallytheirHighConcept,thatreflectstheir abilitytomanipulatesupernormalenergies,talktodeities,readandcastspells.Examples: WizardforHire,ClericofPelor,TrainedinTheCitadel. REFRESH:Doesmagicinyourgamerepresentmorethanjuststudyandhardtraining?Doesa magicuserhavetosurrenderacertainamountofpersonalcontrolovertheirowndestiny? ChargeoneormoreRefreshtogainaccesstoaspecificApproachDomain.
