Designer Series 2014 Ultra-Slim HDMI Leads

THE PERFECT CABLE

The Designer Series is the rst major change to Pro2 since the hugely successful introduction of the Contractor Series. As with the Contractor Seriesall the latest standards are supported. Reliability also remains to be the highest priority. The Designer Series will take these priorities and take it a step forward to be the ideal cable for all applications.

THE PERFECT COLOUR

The light grey colour suits more applications than any other colour. The metallic grey blends into black or charcoal metal 19" equipment racks. The lightness of the grey doesn't contrast against the beige or white walls of most households in the way that a black lead would. Being grey, there's no colour clash against audio visual equipment, which is typically black or silver. The Pro2 blue heads make them distinguishable as an original Pro2 product.

THE PERFECT SIZE

The connector head needs to be small. TVs get closer to walls and more and more HDMI leads are clustered together at the back of equipment. Tight bend radiuses and a small form factor are critical to usability. The smaller gauge of the cable is due to advancements in HDMI manufacture. The circular shape allows for exibility in all directions.

BETTER PACKAGING
When developing the contractor series, trade and retail wanted to move away from the bulky clamp shell packaging to a thin, less wasteful packaging. The money should be spent on the lead and not the package. Transport costs would be lower for us and more leads could t in vans. These ideas have been carried forward, however traditional Pro2 packaging had a habit of breaking apart. Repackaging unused cables was also near impossible. For the Designer Series, the durability has been drastically increased. The bags can also snap close, meaning unused cables can be easily repackaged to be used in the next job.

The painting features the 2nd in line to the throne8 year old Christian. The painting caused controversy with some likening the appearance of Christian to Damien, the possessed orphan from the 1976 lm, The Omen.
