ARL OPTIM'X XRF Spectrometer
An innovative WDXRF system for optimum analytical performance in specific applications.
This unique and compact instrument can be configured with a series of Multichromators for simultaneous analysis and/or with a SmartGonio for sequential analysis and flexibility. Typical applications include the analysis of S, Pb and other elements in petrochemical refineries (according to ASTM and ISO norms), analysis of major and minor oxides in raw materials such as limestone, sand, bauxite, ceramics, refractories, slags and sinters, and major and minor elements in food and chemical products. The ARL OPTIM'X offers excellent value for money, and significantly reduced cost per analysis. This instrument is designed for better resolution, precision, reliability and accuracy, bringing substantial performance benefits for quantitative analysis. Solids, liquids and loose powders in either inorganic or organic matrices can be analysed, showing that flexibility in sample handling can be available alongside the flexible configuration options. Built for autonomous and easy operation, the ARL OPTIM'X does not require internal or external watercooling. In addition, it can be configured to work without external detector gas, reducing the peripheral dependence to a strict minimum. To provide general elemental analysis capabilities, or to offer complementary information when X-ray diffraction, FTIR and other structural analysis methods are employed, the ARL
OPTIM'X is the ideal tool to provide cost effective, simple and rapid chemical analysis.
