Is an innovative electronics company based in Central England offering both products and services in and around the AutoID mobile market space Designs and manufactures peripherals for ruggedised hand held terminals
Founded in 1993
ISO 9001:2008 company Manufactures ruggedised snap-on and Bluetooth/WiFi peripherals Portfolio consists of:
Standard products Custom products Contract development with manufacturing (OEM and ODM)
Temperature measurement
Embedded laser bar code scanning and imaging
Performance constraints read range, read rate, tag singulation, write performance, battery life (run time) etc.
Choice of operating system / user interface is limited to whatever the mobile reader offer
In situations where the majority of the mobile device usage is not for RFID the user can end up with an unnecessarily large and cumbersome dual technology handheld.
End Users have to buy the reader and handheld together. When one is obsolete both must be replaced.
Incompatible with BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) schemes.
BYOD
Modular design allows you to configure the hardware for your specific requirements
Keep your installed base of handheld terminals Use low cost host consumer devices such as iPod Touch and cheap Android phones
