Since being established in 1984, Kazanc Holding
has become one of the leading companies in
the sector with its activities involving Generating
Set production and installation and operation of
Power Plants.
There has been much diversification with further
investments and entry into the natural gas
distribution, tourism and agricultural markets in
recent years. Kazanc Holding is among the
leading holding companies in Turkey with the
many businesses that are in its portfolio.
The Aksa group of companies consist of Power
Generation, Rental, Sales and Marketing, Service
and Spare Parts, Machinery, Tourism, Natural
Gas Distribution and Agriculture.
Aksa Power Generation has been the market
leader in Turkey for over 25 years, but half of
the total annual sales are made to overseas
markets through subsidiary operations that have
expanded over the last 5 years, and producing
significant success in the global market. By
increasing technological investments
continuously, Aksa Power Generation has
realized a first in Turkey by producing the first
natural gas powered generating set in Turkey.

CO-GENERATION
Cogeneration systems provide both electricity and
useful heat energy simultaneously from a single
fuel. Cogeneration technology provides up to
85-90% cycle efficiency by using the waste heat,
which is lost with traditional genset methods.
Enterprises that have a co-generation system can
produce their own electrical energy and meet their
heat requirements (such as cooling hot water,
steam used in their processes) from the same
system.
With much experience and a wide product range,
Aksa Power Generation is able to produce
cogeneration systems and fulfil related services
to suit the requirements of its customers with motor
types from 100 kW to 15 MW.

NATURAL GAS POWERED GENSETS
Aksa was the first to produce natural gas sets in Turkey, which do not have the usual fuel transportation and
storage problems, and which provide a saving with economical fuel costs, lower noise levels, and which are
environmentally friendly with their lower exhaust emissions.

Continuing with investment in power plants powered by natural gas and
petroleum derivatives, with 150 MW capacity in Turkey, 95 MW capacity
abroad, Aksa Energy is also carrying out measurement and feasibility studies
on renewable energy resources, for the establishment of wind and
hydroelectric power plants in various regions within Turkey.
Aksa has an energy production license in the field of wind energy, and
started investing for 2x40 MW power plants.

Its feasibility and design studies are continuing for hydroelectric power plants
under 5 projects with 365 MW capacities, and it has been granted the license
and started to invest for 3 power plants with 77 MW capacities.
Aksa Energy is also continuing with design studies on lignite-fired power
plants and has obtained the licenses required for wholesale and retail sale
of electricity, distribution of electricity, importation and exportation of electrical
energy, and is continuing with further related activities.
Aksa Energy has been satisfying the power and heat requirements of its
customers at home and abroad in an economic and reliable manner since
1995, and continues to increase the investment and activities in power
generation, distribution and sales.

Aksa Service and Spare Parts Co. operates from a Head Office in Istanbul and after sales service is carried out by 110 country-wide authorized
dealerships all reporting back to the head office. The company provides maintenance services and the sale of spare parts with mobile teams
now numbering more than 200 in Turkey. Failure notices reach the company with the strategic service software used online over Internet.
With this system, maintenance and failures are monitored instantaneously and failure notices can be evaluated instantly on a 24-hour basis.
The team nearest to any failure site is directed with Vehicle Tracking System (GPS) incorporated into the service vehicles and the failure
can be remedied by experienced engineers, technicians and service vehicles equipped with all modern equipment.
Aksa Service offers solutions to its customers in such areas as technical information
transfer, elimination of failures, periodic maintenance, control, determination of
needs and the most suitable integration into a system, modernization of outdated
equipment etc.
Aksa Service acts as the distributor of John Deere Marine engines in Turkey and holds
TSE-EN-ISO 9000 certificates.

Involved in the biggest of events that have been hosted in Turkey, Aksa Rental has proven its capabilities by providing uninterruptible power
supply to the Istanbul NATO 2004 Summit, Eurovision 2004, UEFA Champions League Final 2005, and most recently Universiade 2005
Izmir Organizations.
Aksa Rental meets domestic and overseas rental generating set requirements with its wide product range, rental fleet and 8 service points
within Turkey. Supplying service with sound proof canopied sets suitable for operation under heavy conditions, Aksa Rental is capable of
meeting energy requirements of all capacities demanded with the use of synchronized sets.
It meets customer demands at capacities between 5 kVA - 2500 kVA with its gasoline, diesel, natural gas / LPG powered, automatic, manual
and canopied gensets and lighting tower units.

Besides the wall, floor-ceiling, universal; ceiling, cassette, duct devices, from 2003 Aksa has also offered a wall-ceiling type device that can
be installed on either wall or ceiling, further widening the product range.

Apart from the activities involving power generation, Aksa offers sales and after-sales support for FUJI ELECTRIC air-conditioners to the
domestic Turkish market and to CIS countries through its company, Aksa Sales and Marketing Co.
Being a provider in the Turkish cooling and air-conditioning market since 1990, AKSA has supplied Japanese Fuji Electric air-conditioners
since 1994.
Fuji Electric split air-conditioners have become popular in a short time due to the attractiveness of low energy consumption, quality and high

The companies within the AKSA natural gas group completed their investments swiftly during 2004 and achieved the planning, design,
construction, expansion and operation of the natural gas distribution network well ahead of related deadlines and made natural gas available
to our people living in the cities for which we are responsible.
Network investments are continuing rapidly in the licensed zones. It is targeted to reach a total of 155,000 subscribers in the zones by the
end of 2006, with the aim to ensure customer satisfaction as the main priority in the natural gas sector as well. AKSA is realizing economical
natural gas distribution by using the state-of-the-art technologies as a reliable brand with 26 years experience and a specialist technical team.

AKSA Agriculture is investing in both dairy and meat production facilities to EU standards at its Samsun-Gelemen and Tekirdag-Inanli farms
totaling an area of 6,250 acres, which has been rented for 30 years from TIGEM (The Directorate General of Agricultural Enterprises).
Our establishment rented Inanli Farm (Tekirdag) and Gelemen Farm (Samsun) which were privatized in 2004 and is continuing with further
investments in the agricultural sector. The main projects at these farms situated on the 6,250 acres of land involve the establishment of:
- 3,000 cattle breeding (for milk) facility
- 10,000 cattle breeding facility
- 1,000 sheep breeding
- 100 acres plant cultivation in greenhouses
- 10 ton feed factory

At these farms with their modern technological milking systems, and which are computer
integrated, animal movements are monitored with a barcode system. These facilities
provide an extremely hygienic environment and aim to become one of the leading
agricultural and animal husbandry facilities in the country.
These projects will be followed by different agricultural activities such as fruit seedling
growing, vegetable seed growing, vegetable growing etc.

Targeting only the best in the tourism sector, the Aksa Group of Companies has realized its first tourism investment with Mirada Del Mar
Hotel which is located where the pine forests of the Taurus Mountains join the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea, in Gynk town in
the Kemer district of Antalya province.
The Hotel which draws attention to its outstanding architectural and environmental design has been completely restored and renovated and
taken its place in the sector with a new philosophy of service and quality. The 5-star hotel covers an area of 109,000m, has 1220 beds
and has been specifically designed to meet all of the requirements of its guests in Kemer, a location which has been home to many civilizations
throughout the ages, and combines a perfect natural beauty with a unique comfort since 1990.
Recently, the group has added to its portfolio 3 new mountain hotels with 650 bed capacity in Erciyes region, and aims to reach 4000 bed
