In the evening, Intern Micah Shin concludes his evening sermon series called The Temptation of Christ. 11:00 AM Sunday School 5:30 PM Evening Service THIS WEEK Tuesday Young Ladies Craft Night @ 7:00 PM Sprik Home Tuesday Pinewood Derby @ 6:30 PM Hudsonville Reformed Wednesday Midweek Ministries @ 7:00 PM HCS OFFERING This Sundays Benevolent Offering - Our benevolent offering will be received today during both services for the Deacons Fund. Currently the deacons fund is at $3,842.40. The deacons have set a goal of $5,000.00 for this fund in order to have adequate resources available to help those in need. Your gifts to this fund enable the deacons to help your brothers and sisters at Cedar. ANNOUNCEMENTS Reception of New Members Cedar session is pleased to announce that we will receive Chris & Allison Benczkowski, along with their covenant child, Maxwell, as communicant members by reaffirmation of faith. Soli Deo Gloria! 4 Weeks Until Easter Sunday! The elders of Cedar invite you, your friends and your loved ones to join us on Easter Sunday, April 20th, from 9:00 AM 10:00 AM for a special breakfast to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our morning worship service will be held at 10:30 AM and there will be no Sunday School that day.

ANNOUNCEMENTS Report from the Deacons - The Deacons wish to thank you for your support of the Benevolent Fund, which stands at $3700. The Deacons also welcome Terry Holstege, who has been installed as a Deacon to serve you, the congregation. The Deacons ask your help in meeting the church's financial needs. Due to snow days, monetary giving has lagged behind last year's giving -- and behind Cedar's budget needs. Session is monitoring this. Thank you for your help. Help Needed for One of Our Cadets - Caleb Post is collecting pop cans for the entire month of March to help raise funds to cover the cost of his trip to the 2014 Cadet International Camporee in Alberta, Canada. Ottawa County Jail Ministry Today Cedar church will be leading a service at the Ottawa County Jail. Please see Pastor Steve if you would like to be a part of this ministry. Kent County Jail Ministry On Sunday, March 30th, Cedar Church will host our 5th Sunday chapel service at the Kent County Jail from 12:45 PM - 2:15 PM. Please keep this ministry in your prayers. Pinewood Derby - March 25 is the date of this year's Pinewood Derby. You are invited to cheer on our Cadets, so come out to Hudsonville Reformed Church (3950 Highland Drive), beginning at 6:30 p.m. Youth Group Mission Trip - You dont want to miss this opportunity to serve and encourage a fellow OPC congregation. July 12-18, the youth group will be traveling to New York City to help Pastor Jon Shishko and the OP church plant there by reaching out to the community through servant evangelism. ANNOUNCEMENTS Zion Christian Drama Presentation - Zion Christian School is proud to present "Little Women" as its spring play. Audiences of all generations will enjoy discovering - or rediscovering - this classic story of family, friendship, and growing up. Our own Cayte Baker will be playing the part of Marmee. "Little Women" will be presented at Grandville Middle School, located at 3535 Wilson Avenue, at7:00pm on March 27 & 28. Tickets are general admission and are $8 for adults and $6 for students. Reserve your ticket by stopping by Zion's office, calling (616) 878-9472, or emailing tickets@zionchristian.net. A Little Taste Of Heaven? One thing we can be fairly certain of is that there is singing in heaven, and if you like gospel music, Christian bluegrass, or a good male chorus, then you just might get a taste. Join us at the Jehovah Jireh Ministries Benefit Concert on Saturday, March 29, at 7 PM, at Bauer Community Fellowship Church, 4852 Bauer Rd, Hudsonville. A freewill offering will be taken. Items Needed for Love INC Ministry - Various items are needed in several areas of the Love INC ministry. For the Foster Care Ministry needs include: childrens toothpaste, baby shampoo, baby lotion, diaper ointment, new pacifiers, new baby bottles, new hair brushes, night lights and handmade bags to place the items in. For the Camp Bag Ministry needs include: toothbrushes (for ages 914), travel size toothpaste, new combs, new hair brushes, and flashlights. For the Knitting and Sewing Ministries yarn is needed. Also, mittens of all sizes are needed. If you or your small group are able to fulfill any of these items for ministry, please bring the items to Love In the Name of Christ, Attention Karla, 3300 Van Buren Street, Hudsonville. Tax receipts are available. Substitute Teachers Needed - Zion Christian School is looking for substitute teachers who can teach at the elementary or high school level.
