Hypothesis: Does the Bioessence made of waterlily can make our houses smells good and presentable or we can try putting some disinfectant ingredients to make our product or output can be an Air freshener besides it can be a disinfectant. Scope and limitation: This study is limited only to the preparation of bioessence from water lilies and nalta jute And to determine the quality and acceptability in terms of odor, texture, color and overall quality. It does not measure the chemical composition but only the acceptance of this product. Definition of terms: Nalta Jute:(saluyot) Bio Essence: Chapter II Review of related literature: Water Lilies scientifically known as Nymphaea nouchali Burm with a family name Nymphaeaceae (Water Lily Family). It is a clump forming perennial with Thick, black, spongy, tuberous rhizomes anchored in the pond mud by

spreading roots. The water lily does not have true stems, the leaves are on long petioles (leaf stalks) that arise directly from the rhizome. The leaves are large and flat, rounded or oval in shape with notched margins, up to 40 cm in diameter, and cleft almost to the centre where the petiole is attached. They are relatively short lived and are replaced regularly throughout the growing season. They start out as a soft shiny green at the centre of the plant. As they age, the petiole lengthens, pushing the leaf towards the outer perimeter making room for the new growth, and they develop light brown or purple splashes which eventually cover the leaf, leaving only the veins green. Then they start to die, turning yellow then brown and eventually disappearing under the water. One plant can spread over an area of about 1 m. Chapter III: The chapter presents the different material used and procedures applied in making bio essence natural air freshener) PHASE I: preparation of materials All the materials needed for the production of bio essence (natural air freshener) were oreoared. Water lilies and nalta jute were collected along the marikina river or the pasig river. PHASE II: drying and bleaching After the materials were gathered, the next step was to dry and bleach the roots of the water lilies and nalta jute . the stems of the plants were removed. The roots of water lilies and jute plant were washed using the dishwashing soap to remove the dirt then they were soaked for 2 hours until the color fades. When that happens, finally wash the roots with portable water and dry them in the sun. You will notice that the roots become white. PHASE III: production of gulaman Boil 3 gallons of water with 1 bottle of vinegar and put the dried roots of water lilies and nalta jute. Boil for 45 minutes then remove from the fire. Strain using silk screen, then place cooked gulaman in the clean dry tray. while cooling, it appears like the ordinary jelly. Cut the gulaman into cube and soak it in water for 2 days. Change soaking the water repeatedly ti eliminate acid smell and taste of vinegar. Finally the cubes of gulaman are now ready to use whatever you wanted to do.

PHASE IV: Production of bio essence (air freshener) Boil the cubes gulaman in the clean casserole. Wait until the gulaman change into liquid.while boiling, add 5 drops of natural essence and 1 cup of salt in the boiling

gulaman. Boil for 30 to 35 minutes then remove from the fire. Strain using silk screen, then placed the bio essence in the clean tray. While cooling, you can smell the essence of the bio essence cut the bio essence into small cubes and palce it to the small container or according to your packaging.
