Dear Parents / Caregivers We hope your children are preparing themselves for camp.

It is a very exciting time for them and we know they will enjoy it. If camp is causing any stress in your household, please let us know Leadership: The camp is based on building leadership and team skills. The children will be working in a variety of groups. This year we are going to be electing the 2014 House Leaders, based on camp experiences. Raft Equipment: We need some equipment for making rafts on camp. If you have any wool packs, empty 20litre containers or access to other raft materials please let your childs classroom teacher know. Parent Help: Thanks to all of the parents who volunteered to be part of our Year 6 Camp trip. We had six slips handed in to us by today, so the parent helps are as follows Marty Cuttle, David Kearvell, Greg Barnaby, Doreen Nell, Gina Gardner and Alison Esler. We have a camp meeting on Monday 17th March at 7.30 in the staffroom at school. Please let me know if you cant make it. Camp Number: 03 6147007 This is the number for Raincliff Camp. It has a toll bar so we cannot ring out, but it will work if you need to contact us. Visitors: If you would like to come and visit us on camp you are more than welcome. Please fill in the slip at the bottom of this note. This means we know when to expect you and can ensure you come at an appropriate time. The Raincliff Camp board expects a $5.00 fee for visiting. Camp Costs: We are still finalising the last details in order to work out the camp cost for 2014. This is will be confirmed early next week. We realise that is very late notice for some budgets, so there is no expectation to pay before we go on camp. Camp Books Today the children will come home with their camp books. Hopefully all information that you might need will be included in this booklet. If there is anything else you would like to know, please contact your childs classroom teacher.
