The first hull is for 42 feet fishing boat, design on the computer, to cater for the fishing industry with economically optimum, structurally strong and stable fishing vessels. Vessels hull shape has been designed as a semi displacement hull to minimize the resistance with adequate stability and maximize the stowage capacity. Large deck area facilitates easy access to fishing and fish handling. It is an optimum design with a modern eye that can carry maximum amount of fish with minimum fuel consumption. It has been already proved that the vessels shape is economically far better compare to other vessels. Construction standard and stability at all loading conditions satisfy the FAO/ILO draft regulations and guidelines. Frames and longitudinal stiffeners are FRP and their lamination schedules and cross sectional areas are in accordance to the standards. Hull and keel laminations are also follows the standards set up in the above regulations. The process of build is assessed by inspection and testing at each stage to ensure the quality and reliability. Tanks are water tested or air tested at the construction stages. Continues learning and re-designing has improved the quality and appearance of the boats day by day.

This is 42 feet multi-day fishing boat constructed under the Tsunami project for net fishing. Vessel has a very basic arrangement with a subdivided fish hold, anchor room and the engine room. The fuel and fresh water capacities are as given in the specification. Installed power is by 84HP, 4 cylinder Mitsubishi engine and the vessel does about 8 knots at the loaded condition at 70% MCR. Normal voyage is about one month.
Internal arrangement of the vessel has been designed to facilitate long line fishing with chilled tanks, bait hold and fish hold. Holds are insulated with polyurethane form filled. Chilled bath and bait hold temperatures are maintained constant throughout, using automated refrigeration plant. System is run by 2 x Type IV Bitzer compressors and compressors are independently starts and run to maintained temperatures.
