on a Master Page. Use Master Pages to specify and apply different page designs, such as margins, headers and footers, column guides, and backgrounds, within a single publication. Create, modify, and delete objects on master pages just as you would master pages themselves. !ach publication you open contains a "ocument Master page or #if the publication includes facing pages$ a "ocument Master page spread. %he "ocument Master applies to all pages in the publication until you specify otherwise, and &cannot be renamed or removed from the publication.
