This magazine holds a collection of small interviews that give you an insight into sneaker fans. The craze that has been rising for years is now at its peak, everybody owns some kind of sneaker whether its limited edition or vintage. The interviews are with real life sneaker heads that are from all over the world. Id like to take this opportunity to thank them for taking time out of their day to be interviewed and that they kindly shared some of their photography with us. Thank you for reading JUICE magazine. No sneakers were harmed in the making of this magazine.

As I said, my all time favorite Jordan is the Jordan 5. 2013 was the 23th anniversary of the Jordan 5 which first released in 1990, so they released many colorways of the pair at this occasion in 2013. I bought all of them (only those which released in Europe because US got exclusive release...). But Jordans are just a part of the sneaker culture and they are mainly appreciated in the US. In Europe people are most interested in Runners like Air Max 1s, Air Max 90s, or even brand like Adidas, New Balance, Asics, Saucony... which are not very popular in the US. and I have to say that the Jordans and basketball shoes in general are getting more and more expensive. So for now I have to say that my all time favorite sneaker is the Air Max 1... just above the Air Max 90. These pairs were respectively design in 1987 and 1990 by legendary Thinker Hatfield (who has design many Jordans too) and the air Max 1 was the fisrt pair ever to featur a visible air unit. This design has been inspired by Le Centre George Pompidou in France (because we see the foundations of the building and it shows what we normally cant see).

My name is Etienne I live in Paris, France and I bought my first pair of sneakers in San Francisco aproximately 2 years ago in a little shop in Haight-ashbury.. actually I bought two pairs at the same time (haha) which were the Air Jordan Retro 7 Bordeaux and the Air Jordan Retro 6 Motorsports. The second one is pretty hard to find, I saw one once at OPIUM store in Paris for 500 so... It was a good cop. :) I have always liked having many pair and even when I was younger, I always had like 3 or 4 pairs at home. I used to buy Nikes but no limited edition like now, only pairs that were easy to find at any Footlocker. And one day I heard about Jordans, I knew that it existed but was not able to put this amount of money in a pair of sneakers at this time. But I started to learn numbers and History of the different Retros (as you may know Jordans collectors are mostly intrested in Retros (Mostly from AJ1 to .. AJ11-AJ13)) and I discover the Jordan 5 and this remain my favorite pair of Jordan today I have something like 15 pairs of Jordan 5 lol. So I think this pair made me love sneakers or at least it made me want to own a pair. Actually I bought my first pair of Jordan 5 when I came back from SF, it was the AJ5 QUAI 54. The funny thing is that I was looking for this pair in the US but it worth like 600$ there.. and I figured out it only

My name is Chris Adrian Labe Jison and Im 22 years old. I like food, especially chicken and well, anything that looks tasty really and I like trainers too, some might say Im addicted to it but I dont really think so because I can stop buying them whenever I want to, just not yet. first sneaker that I really liked was a pair of reebok kamikaze that was handed down to me by my older brother, I used it for everything I did, basketball, walking my dog and even to school. I cant exactly remember when I got hooked on collecting sneakers, but what I can remember is that one day I was clearing my room and realised about 7080% of my stuff was trainers. I also noticed that I was being told off more than I use to about the shoe deliveries that was arriving at my doorsteps. My favourite sneaker of all time would be the Jordan1 banned or the royal blue, its something Ive always wanted since I was young and will continue to buy them whenever they are re-released.

What was your first pair of sneakers?: puhh thats hard.As far as I can remember it was a La Gear I got from my mother for my 7th birthday.The first Sneaker I bought was a Nike DUNK LOW PREMIUM SB Mosquito I bought in 2008. In 2009 I was interested in the Air Max more and more and just bought myself an AIR MAX 1 PREMIUM ALPHABET PACK. In 2012 I bought my first collabo shoe, Air Max 1 Patta Corduroy. When and how did you first discover your love for sneakers?:It was 2008 and it was just cool to wear a pair of Nike SBs and chill out at the skate park with his friends. Top five Signs Your Sneaker O bsessi o n Is Too Much

1. Willing To Camp Out Days In Advance of sneaker Release To some this notion may sound quite ridiculous but to a sneaker head it is simply routine. Some sneakers have become so sought after yet so limited in quantity that sneaker addicts are willing to camp out days in advance to get the opportunity to purchase them. Rain, sleet, or snow has never pushed back a sneaker release and it certainly has no effect on those camps out lines neither. 2. Prioritizes Paying for sneakers Before Rent/Mortgage, Bills, Gas, Food, Etc. If youre contemplating or have ever contemplated forgoing your rent for the newest Jeremy Scott Adidas then you probably wont have an apartment to house all those sneakers much longer. Quite simply the cost of sneakers should never supersede any priorities you have or youll end up homeless and hungry. But I bet you got them jays though! 3. ers Now a variety of sneakers but when all you have to wear with all those sneakers is the same tired outfit then it becomes a problem. Your closet should have some type of balance to it. You dont wont the reputation of kid with all the nice sneakers and the one dingy white tee right? This too can easily be corrected. 4. Spends More Money On sneakers Than Gifts For Family/Lover In this day in age parents and girlfriends around the world are more aware of the price of the popular sneakers. So basically you cant expect to get the whole family $20 gift cards to Starbucks for Christmas when youre walking around in those $180 Christmas LeBron 8 sneakers. Nor can you get your girlfriend one of those $30 Wal-Mart tennis bracelets and not expect her to raise hell when you go to purchase those $250+ Air Yeezys. Thats the quickest way to end up lonely.

Has 100s of sneakers And Has more sneak- No Means Of Transportation Than Clothes In Closet For one, if youre catching the its not terrible to have bus to go to a sneaker release then you already have a problem. With the high cost of sneakers nowadays you could easily forgo 10 pairs to save for a cheap vehicle. Hell you could get a bike for the cost of 3 pairs nowadays. Or you could remain to look silly while walking everywhere in shoes valued at $500.

My name is Arthur Holmes and Im 24 years old. I was born in Zimbabwe and raised there for 14 years before coming to England. The first pair of sneakers I owned was a pair of white Reebok G-unit sneakers. I remember I purchased them from footlocker when they first came out, my friends and I were big G-unit fans and when the sneakers came out we all went crazy and the popularity influenced me to cop a pair. I cant exactly pin point the moment that I first discovered my love for sneakers, I just realized one day that I had a large collection of sneakers and still felt compelled to buy more that appealed to me. name is Constance Lowe. I am from Jackson,Mississippi. My first sneaker was the Nike Air Turf worn by football player Deion Sanders. The shoe was released in 1993 and I was in the 3rd grade. My parents took me to the mall to let me pick our my own show. It was that shoe that stood out to me. The shoe was released again in 2011 and sold out within minutes. I had to get them one more. Just with my own money this time. I have about 100 pair of sneakers. Ive purchased as many as 8 pair in one month. I started my own clothing company due to my addiction to sneakers. I got tired of having to find different clothing to coordinate with my shoes. I was spending large amounts of money on clothing. i thought to myself why not create my own clothing. I started Sneaker Addict Clothing (sneakeraddict.bigcartel.com) two years ago. Its hard for me to pick one shoe when I have so many. The Jordan 11 would be my favorite shoe based on comfort and style. Its a good shoe regardless if youre playing basketball or just wearing for show.

I have always been a girly girl although wearing different sneakers is a big interest of mine. I love the unusual styles and colours that different brands bring out. Nike are my favourite brand but I like all kind of sneakers especially ones that are full of colour and pattern. He bought me my first pair when I was about 10 or 11 years old.
