China
China is located in the Asian continent with Beijing as the capital. China has always been a strong supporter of UNHCR and its activities. China hosts 301,018 refugees from Mongolia, Tibet, Korea and other adjoining countries. In 2011 over 2,737 North Koreans left for the South Korea while it is estimated that over 23,000 North Koreans have already moved to the South since 1953. China has been helping the refugees but this might change. Due to the high population of refugees China faces issues with food, shelter, education and work opportunities. However, improving the quality of life of refugees remains their main aim. China signed the 1951 Refugee convention and is committed to work with the UNHCR in 2013. They plan to find solutions for the refugee problem so that people dont hav e to leave their country. Even if refugees have to leave their country they want them to find safe places to live in, the government and people of the country should accept them willingly. China hopes that through this resolution there will be increased cases of refugees wanting to return to their own country, reduced cases of war and lesser refugees. China also hopes that the resolution will help provide better living conditions for all its refugees. They support the views of Pakistan, India and other like-minded countries to make the world a better place for refugees.

Brazil
Brazil is located in the South American continent with Brasilia as its capital. Brazil has been a strong supporter of UNHCR and will support any resolution taken by the UNHCR to improve the quality of life of Refugees. Brazil presently hosts 4,477 Refugees from Argentina, Peru, Chile and other neighboring countries. Although having a low population of refugees they have seen a rise in problems such as drugs, criminal

activities. They dont want this problem to grow and will support any resolution to improve the quality of life of Refugees which will help reduce the cases of violence. Brazil is working towards making the lives of refugees better, provide them with better protection, helping them with employment. They want the people of the country to accept the refugees and live peacefully. Brazil hopes that this resolution will provide better food, education, health, and living facilities resulting in better quality of life for these refugees. They will support views of likeminded countries like India, Switzerland, USA, Germany and other countries to make the world a better place for the refugees.

South Africa
South Africa has its capital in Cape Town. A lot of refugees from Mozambique started entering South Africa in the 1980s since there was a war in their country. In 1994 there were more than 500,000 refugees in South Africa. South Africa hosts 63,000 refugees mainly from Bangladesh, Somalia, Zimbabwe, Angola and other neighboring countries. Due to the high population of refugees they find it difficult to keep track of the number of refugees in their country, and providing them with other basic facilities. South Africa will support any resolution taken by the UNHCR to improve the quality of life of Refugees. Increasing the quality of life for Refugees in South Africa and around the world remains their main aim. South Africa is committed to work with the UNHCR in 2013 according to the 1951 Refugee Convention. Their aim is provide of food, and other basic needs for refugees. They want to work on making the people of the country accept refugees and live peacefully. South Africa hopes that this solution will result in refugees willingly going back to their country and the number of refugees in their country will reduce. South Africa will support the views of like-minded countries like India, USA, UK to make the world a better place for refugees.

Switzerland
Switzerland is located in the European continent with Bern as its capital. Switzerland has been an active member of the UNHCR and will support any resolution taken by the UNHCR to improve the quality of life of Refugees. Switzerland hosts 50,416 Refugees mainly from countries like Italy, Africa, Afghanistan and other neighboring countries.

Due to the high population of refugees their citizens are finding it difficult to adjust to foreigners and the worsening economic situation. However, they are committed to improve the quality of life of these refugees. Switzerland has signed the 1951 Refugee Convention. They plan to provide quality education, jobs and health facilities to all their refugees. They support the views of likeminded countries like Brazil, France, Italy and other adjoining countries to make the world a better place for the refugees.

Israel
Israel is located in the Asian continent with Jerusalem as its capital. A lot of refugees from Sudan entered Israel since a war was going on in their country in 2005. By 2008, there were 7,700 refugees who had entered from Sudan. Israel presently hosts 41,235 refugees majorly from Syria and Iraq. Due to the increased population of refugees they face economic, security and religious threats. Israel supports any resolution taken by the UNHCR to improve the quality of life of Refugees. However, they are committed towards improving the quality of life for these refugees. Israel was one of the first to sign the 1951 Refugee. Their plan is to increase job opportunities for these refugees by helping them start small businesses. They also plan on providing better food, health, education and legal facilities to all the refugees which will increase their quality of life. They support the views of like-minded countries like USA, UK and other countries to make the world a better place for refugees.

Germany
Germany is located in the European continent with Berlin as its capital. Germany supports any resolution taken by the UNHCR to improve the quality of life of refugees. Germany presently hosts 5,71,685 from Afghanistan, Austria, Africa and other neighboring countries. Due to the high population of refugees Germany has been facing economic problems. However they still want to work on improving the quality of life for refugee. Germany has signed the 1951 Refugee Convention. Their main aim is to provide jobs and basic living facilities to refugees. They support the views of likeminded countries like Japan, Austria, Turkey and other countries to make the world a better place for refugees.

Japan
Japan is located in the Asian continent with Tokyo as its capital. Japan supports any resolution taken by the UNHCR to improve the quality of life of refugees. Japan has always been a strong supporter of UNHCR and its activities. Japan presently hosts 2,699 refugees from Indonesia, South Korea, Australia and other neighboring countries. Although they have few refugees they face issues with security and living areas for them. But Japan still wants to help these refugees by allowing more refugees to live in their country. Japan has signed the 1951 Refugee Convention. Japan wants to work on reducing the number of refugees living in other countries. They support the views of like-minded countries like USA, India in making the world a better place for refugees.

India
India is located in the Asian continent with Delhi as its capital. India supports any resolution taken by the UNHCR to improve the quality of life of refugees. India presently hosts 1,74,388 refugees from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and other neighboring countries. Due to the high population of refugees they face severe economic problems. However, they are committed to improve the quality of life of these refugees. India having not signed the 1951 Refugee Convention remains committed to work with UNHCR. Their aim is to help refugees by keeping them safe and providing better housing, clothing and food for these refugees. They support the views of various like-minded countries like Brazil, Iran, and Russia to make the world a better place for all refugees.

United Kingdom
United Kingdom is located in the European continent with London as its capital. A lot of refugees moved to Britain after the Second World War. UK presently host 1,93,510 refugees from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Serbia, Somalia and various other countries. United Kingdom supports any resolution taken by the UNHCR to improve the quality of life of refugees. UK has been one of the founding members of the UNHCR and supports all its activities. Due to the exceedingly high population of refugees they face economic issues and the refugees dont feel very safe. However, they want to reduce the number of refugees and provide them with a better quality life.

United Kingdom signed the 1951 Refugee Convention. They want to work with NGOs and other governments to provide refugees with a better quality life. They hope that Refugees will willingly leave for their own country once the problems in their country are solved. They support the views of like-minded countries like France, Russia, USA and South Africa to make the world a better place for all refugees.

Pakistan
Pakistan is situated in the Asian continent with Islamabad as its capital. Before the partition there were a lot of problems between the Hindus and Muslims. A lot of Muslims were troubled by Hindus and Sikhs. To escape all these troubles many Muslims moved to Pakistan. During the partition a number areas where lot of Muslims lived were given to India because of which the Muslims were not feeling very safe. They were worried that they will have to face more troubles from the Hindus and Pakistan was not able to help them much. They therefore left their homes, land and businesses and left for Pakistan. This increased the number refugees in Pakistan since when these people went there, there was no proper arrangement for food or living. Pakistan presently hosts 1.6 million refugees from Afghanistan and other neighboring countries Pakistan supports any resolution taken by the UNHCR to improve the quality of life of refugees. Due to the very high population of refugees they are facing severe economic and social issues. However, they want to improve the quality of life of all refugees. Pakistan has shown its strong commitment to UNHCR and refugees by introducing The Refugee Affected and Hosting Areas (RAHA). By this they will work on getting the people to live peacefully with refugees, providing protection and basic education, healthcare, water, jobs and better living conditions. They support the view of likeminded countries like Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Iran to make the world a better place for all refugees.

The United States of America

The United States of America has its capital in Washington DC. USA supports any resolution taken by the UNHCR to improve the quality of life of refugees around the world. The United States of America has always been a strong supporter of all UNHCR activities. The United States of America presently hosts 2,64,763 refugees from Mexico

and countries around the world. They face issues with providing good quality living to all refugees because of the increased population. USA signed the 1951 Refugees Convention and is committed to working with UNHCR in the future. Their aim is to provide support to refugees by giving them access to better education, health and other. They support the views of all countries committed to work towards the refugee problem like Canada, India, Japan to make the world a better place for all refugees.

Iran
Iran is located in the Asian continent with Tehran as its capital. Iran supports any resolution taken by the UNHCR to improve the quality of life of refugees. Iran has always been a strong supporter of UNHCR and its activities. Iran presently hosts 882,700 refugees mainly from Afghanistan, Iraq and other neighboring countries. Considering the high population of refugees they face severe economic, health and security crisis. But they still want to improve the quality of life of refugees. Iran having signed the 1951 resolution remains committed to work with UNHCR in 2013 and in the future. They want to work on providing better living conditions for refugees, trying to solve the problem with the refugees country, so that the refugees can go back to their country and live peacefully. They support the views of like-minded countries like Afghanistan and Iraq to make the world a better place for refugees.

Russia
Russias capital is located Moscow. Russia supports any resolution taken by the UNHCR to improve the quality of life of refugees. Russia has been a supporter of UNHCR activities. Russia presently hosts 101,100 refugees from Europe, Mongolia and other adjoining countries. Due to the high population of refugees Russia faces severe human rights violations. The Russian government is strongly committed to improve the quality of life remains strong. Russian is working on finding solutions that will help provide food, clothes, education and other basic facilities and address the various human right violations. They support like-minded countries like India, USA, UK to make the world a better place for all refugees.

France
France is located in the European continent with Paris as its capital. France supports any resolution taken by the UNHCR to improve the quality of life of refugees around the world. France has been one of the founding members of UNHCR and a strong supporter of all its activities. France presently hosts 50,000 refugees from Iraq, Somalia, Germany and other European and African countries. In 2010, President Nicolas Sarkozy began to send back illegal Romani refugees to Bulgaria and other places. Due to the increasing population of refugees every year the number of criminal activities is increasing. France remains committed to solve this problem by improving the quality of life of all the refugees. France is a part of the European Union Support Office and is working closely with the UNHCR to solve refugee issues in Europe. In 2013 they plan to develop partnerships with governments and NGOs for improving the life of refugees by providing them with better housing, jobs for everyone.
