Products continuity from core service


(SPOT/Vegetation: e.g.NDVI, LAI, FAPAR, SWB, FCover) Originally designed and tested by Geoland Operational production for Africa through VGT4Africa project BIOPAR (Geoland2 CMS) currently guarantee the generation BIOPAR will ill produce d i improved d algorithms l ith ( (under d validation) lid ti ) GIO (GMES Interim Operations) expected to continue operational production as from 2012 (under discussion).

Training component
A key component for African users BioPar Bi P and d similar i il products d t are new Need to learn how to use NARMA Training programme in Africa: joint effort with AMESD (common interest co-funding!), belongs to the AMESD training plan. Four training sessions on the products and their use to support THEMAs are foreseen in 2011 - 2012

NB: Completed with own JRC effort for on-the-job training (2-3 months secondment periods at JRC for mastering the eStation)
