The original Hansen designed automatic coupling offered
in nominal sizes of 14, 38, 12 and 34.
Easy, automatic, push-to-connect design provides
instantaneous connection and disconnection of lines,
plus automatic shut-off of socket end of line.
When connected, plug is free to swivel 360 eliminating
any kinks in the hose.
The plug interchange for the series is the Industrial
Interchange.

Series 1-HK to 8-HK Steam Coupling

The Hansen Steam Coupling is designed with an extra-wide
flange on the sleeve for gripping. The coupling with the
special sleeve allows the coupling to be operated while the
user wears heavy gloves for protection. A -192 seal is the
standard seal in the coupling for steam applications
(100 psi saturated steam 338F).

Series FF style double-shutoff hydraulic couplings are

intended for use on medium pressure hydraulic systems up
to 3625 psi operating pressures. Combines dual flush-face
valving, push-to-connect operation, minimum fluid loss upon
disconnection, low air inclusion and sleeve lock. Primary
applications are with hydraulic tools where cleaner automatic
connections are needed and in machine tool line connections
where minimum fluid spillage is required.

mechanism that replaces the threaded connections typically

to cool injection molds. The product is available valved or
non-valved depending on your application for use with hot
oil, water-glycol, and hot water.

Sockets have a brass construction with 302 stainless
steel valve springs and 440 stainless steel locking balls.
Plugs are designed short so that they can be easily
recessed below the mold surface to avoid damage
when the mold is being changed or stored.
Valved models for automatic shut-off when line is
disconnected.
Non-valved straight-through models for maximum flow
requirements and automatic shut-off is not a factor.

Plastic Dust Caps for Gas-Mate Couplings

Dust Caps are available where protection is necessary
against excessive flying grit or dust. The Socket Dust Cap
is easily applied by pulling back the sleeve of the Socket and
inserting the Dust Cap. The Plug Dust Cap covers the entire
machined surface of the Plug. It is applied and held in place
by friction on the locking portion of the Plug. Metal Dust Caps
are supplied with chain and attachment ring. Plastic Dust
Caps have integral plastic strap and attachment loop.
