On the 28th of June, the second day of a week’s long celebration of the first ever Ghana Fashion Week,
a breathtaking fashion show took place at the Holiday Inn. This was a brainchild of Sima Ibrahim, CEO
of Xopa in partnership with Global Media Alliance.

Designers represented were from Ghana, Ivory Coast and Nigeria. Make up was by Sleek and 2nd Image
and of course the models from Xopa. It was definitely a sight for sore eyes, and a good beginning for
many more fashion weeks to come.
A few words from Sima: “ it is my wish to have the Ghana Fashion Week recognised by all the fashion
cities in the world, as well as create jobs for models of African origin”.

From the 1st of August, Xopa Burg will be open to all interested in becoming models. Pupils, students
and adults are welcome.

Good luck Sima, and more grease. . . . . . .

stay increased for a period of time after exercising,
allowing you to burn more calories.

How much exercise is needed to make a differ-

type of activity, and on how much you eat.
Aerobic exercise burns body fat. A medium-sized
adult would have to walk more than 30 miles to
burn up 3,500 calories, the equivalent of one
pound of fat. Although that may seem like a lot,
you don't have to walk the 30 miles all at once.
Walking a mile a day for 30 days will achieve the
same result, providing you don't increase your
food intake to negate the effects of walking

If you consume 100 calories a day more than your

body needs, you will gain approximately 10
pounds in a year. You could take that weight off, or
keep it off, by doing 30 minutes of moderate exer-

Fill in the grid so that every row, every
column, and every 3x3 box contains the
digits 1 through 9. The same number
should not be repeated in a row, column
or 3x3 box. That’s all there is to it.
There`s no math involved. The grid has
numbers, but nothing has to add up to
anything else.

It’s fun. It’s challenging. It’s addictive.

Solving time is typically from 10 to 30
minutes, depending on your skill level
and experience.
