Feb.19 Good Morning Macedonia Family, Romans 8:31 if God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:37 no, in all these things we are more than conquers through him who loved us. My praise report reflects those two scriptures very well for the trying two days I had on Monday Feb. 17 and Tuesday Feb 18. On Monday Feb 17 we took our second PT test and I did 63 push ups. 67 sit ups (9 more than my first test) and a 15:31 two mile shaving (nearly two minutes off my first test). Directly after our second PT test the company had our pugils banner event, which is combat fighting that is suppose to stimulate using a bayonet (ask my mom for a description). After four grueling matches I won the middle weight pugil division (60-100 lbs) for my platoon, which helped my platoon win our third banner of basic combat training and helped grow our first place lead towards becoming honor platoon. Tuesday Feb 18 was the biggest day at basic for me; it was our last day of basic rifle marksmanship and if I did not qualify I would have been recycled with a new company. But GOD be the glory for the things GOD has done; I passed my basic and the first thing I did when I came off the range was ask permission to pray alone (safety protocol after firing a weapon) and got down on both knees and thanked the Lord for being with me and helping yet again conquer another obstacle. Macedonia I love you family I miss you family. See you guys in September. Specialist Clarence Thomas III
