Load/Save Icon

Whenever Ashes Cricket 2013 is loading or saving data, this icon will appear on screen. Please do not turn off your system while this icon is being displayed.

Play Cricket

Here you can choose what type of cricket game you wish to play. The available options are: The Investec Ashes Series 2013 Play The Ashes as Australia or England. Play either series, consisting of five Test matches located at real match venues in both Australia and the UK. Test Match Play a full Test Match over five days, with two innings per side. One Day International Play a ODI in which each side has a maximum number of overs, selectable by the player (5, 10, 25 or 50), in which to score. Twenty20 Play a t20 cricket match. Each side has a maximum of twenty overs in which to score. Tournaments Play a tournament from the following selection:
Twenty Overs Pro League A twenty overs tournament consisting of ten teams in a league format.

Default Team

Select your default team by navigating left and right on the left stick. This team will be selected by default as the home team when you set up a match. This can be changed at a later time in The Pavilion menu option.

Twenty Overs World Championship A twenty overs tournament consisting of sixteen teams in a round robin / knockout format. World Premiers Cup An ODI tournament consisting of sixteen teams in a round robin / knockout format. International Trophy An ODI tournament consisting of eight teams in a round robin / knockout format. Custom Tournament Configure your own tournament of either twenty overs, ODI or Test matches with various other options.

In The Pavilion, you can select from the following options: In the player editor, you can customise various aspects of players.
Player Statistics Player statistics contains various player attributes such as handedness, player role, and skill levels.

Appearance The appearance option allows you to customise how your players look.

Kit Bag The kit bag option allows you to outfit your players with kit items that you have unlocked, and also allows you to unlock new items.

Default Team

This option allows you to change your default team that you previously chose upon launching the game for the first time.
