MostIEAmember countriesincreased theuseofcombustiblerenewables andwaste in industry.Their combined share rosefrom 4%to8%. Two examples include theextensiveuseofbiomass (wood wastes andresidues)inthepulp andpaper industry andincreased useofwaste inother sectors (e.g.used tyres inthebeing thedelocalisation ofenergyintensivesectors such cement industry).
