I am applying for the Assistant Baseball Coach position. I am well qualified for this position; I played baseball high school and collegiate level, and have seventeen years of experience under my belt. In High School, I was used as a utility player, understanding all the basics of each position, knowing where to go, and where the play would go if the ball came to me. At East Texas Baptist University I was a pitcher only. I was the go to closer my freshman year and in my sophomore year I was moved to the set up position. While in High School, I was used as a scout for the Varsity team while injured or on Junior Varsity. My J.V. coach would use me as a pitch caller my sophomore and junior year, and while on the field he trusted me enough to lead the infield making sure that they knew where to go.
