Schedule for Submission of Documents, Interview / Admission

UNDER-GRADUATE PROGRAMME (B.E)

Candidates whose names appear in the Provisional Merit List, are advised in their own interest to read the following very carefully and note down the schedule for their personal appearance for submission of documents and for the Interview & Admission. Data Record of applications will be displayed on the University Website (www.quest.edu.pk) on 22-10-2013. Any applicant having his/her needed correction may contact Admission Office on or before 29-10-2013. The First Provisional Merit List for each category under regular scheme will be notified by the University on 15-11-2013. The list will be displayed on the University Notice Board @ Sector-A and will also be made available on the University Website(www.quest.edu.pk). Each Candidate, according to the order of merit in the merit list, should personally report for submission of documents at Admission office on the date and time specified for reporting, according to the following schedule-A @ page # 3. For submission of documents each candidate must bring the following documents in original for scrutiny and submit as mentioned against each of them, to the admission office. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Candidates would then be required to appear before the Interview Committee for admission on specific date and time as shown in SCHEDULE-A @ page # 3, to choose the discipline from the available seats in their respective category and get on spot admission. The selection of discipline/programme is based on a computerized interactive process. The choice of available seats would decrease as one goes down in the order of merit and each candidate will have to make on-the-spot choice from the available seats. To assist the candidate in making the decision he/she may bring his/her parents (or guardian) on the day of Interview/Admission. Candidate should come prepared to choose the discipline. Filling the block given below according to their preference of disciplines. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc might help them in making on spot choice.

If the candidate is unable to attend the Interview/Admission in case of EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCE he/she may authorize any person, preferably a parent, to come on the Interview/Admission day as per schedule and take decision on behalf of candidate. The person so authorized shall have to complete all formalities required by the University regarding admission process. Candidates who expect to face EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES should contact the Chairman Admission Committee after the submission of original documents but atleast two (02) days before Interview & Admission. THE NAME OF CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT SUBMIT THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS AND / OR FAIL TO APPEAR FOR INTERVIEW/ADMISSION ON THE SPECIFIED SCHEDULE DATES FOR EACH CATEGORY, SHALL BE DELETED FROM THE MERIT LIST. If a candidate reports for admission after his / her scheduled date/time, University authority may consider him/her for admission on merit against only on available seats under respective category. All candidates should bring following amount in CASH as admission fee for B.E/BS program on the interview day for admission. For the purpose of reference the printed documents related to admission (e.g. Admit Slip, Merit List, and Admission Schedule etc) shall be quoted in case of any objections / claims. No telephonic or personal statements shall be considered relevant in case any of such claims.
