The extras -Tip / Dont forget / Warning- can be used at each step to provide additional information related to the action itself. a) The introduction This is the audiences first point of contact with the script, and should both present the topic, as well as sum up the information that the reader or viewer will be presented with. This is the appropriate section to explain the why of each particular script, or video. TIP: try to not be too obvious in this section; in other words limit yourself to introducing the topic, and dont repeat text that will be used later in one of the steps. b) You will need These are the elements (items or characteristics) that will be needed to successfully perform, or carry out each How To. The Getting Started section is not The Introduction but rather should be the halfway point of your script. e) Fun Fact Each script ends with a curious fact or piece of trivia relating to the topic about which you are writing. Feel free to do whatever research is necessary to find a funny, interesting, and instructive fun fact. The fun fact should not be simply an observation, a comment, or a piece of information that could be included in a step or an additional. f) Tags! We offer 5 different tag options (which briefly summarize what your article is about) that you will have then have to approve. Take a look at them and edit them if necessary; keep in mind that these tags will be responsible for helping people find your How To. Next, simply respond to the question what is the article about? with whatever tags you choose. TIP: use tags with a maximum of one or two words. WARNING: avoid repeating the same tags

- Plagiarism, grammar, etc. Be original. Emerging Casts scripts are Plagiarism Free. We have an anti-plagiarism system that revises all submitted articles in order to avoid any plagiarized content. We strongly recommend that you avoid plagiarism in all of its forms: books, magazines, newspapers, and the Internet (this includes www.EmergingCast.com as well!!!). Be professional. Use a spell-checker (Emerging Cast provides you with one during the upload process for your script). Do not use common Internet abbreviations (BTW, WTF, OMG, etc). Be certain. Publish only information about which you are 100% certain. Use the Preview function (which you will have access to upon finishing the upload process) to reread, and doublecheck your script. Read your script out loud and make sure that it is clear and consistent. - Final thoughts Always keep in mind that your script most likely be recorded and turned into a film; therefore, avoid making references to this article. A video is not an article but a guide. Use this term if you need to refer to your own How to script. As a general rule, try and use common sense, and remember that your script needs to read like the script for a video, so adjust your style accordingly.
