Generational Deliverance

Isaiah 61:1
The spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to preach
good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim
freedom for the captives and to release from darkness for the prisoners.

Resistance – Our enemy

Isaiah l4:12 -15 .
How you have fallen from heaven 6 morning star, son of the dawn! You have been
cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart I
will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; twill sit
enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I
will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself live the most High. But
you are bought down to the grace, to the depths of the pit.

Ezekiel 28:12-17
Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of tyre and say to him: This is what
the sovereign Lord says:
You wee the medd of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in
Eden, the garden of God every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz and emerald,
chrysolite, onyx and jasper sapphire, turquoise and beryl.
Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they
were prepared.
You were anointed as guardian cherub for so I ordained you. You were on the holy
mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. You wee blameless in your ways
from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. Though your
widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in
disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among
the fiery stones.
Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom
because of your splendour. So I threw you to earth; I made a spectacle of you before
kings.

2 Peter 2:4
For if God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting
them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgement; if he did not spare the ancient
world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people.

Ephesians 6:12

Matthew 12:43-
When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and
does not find it. Then it says, I will return to the house I left. When it arrives, it finds
the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it
seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final
condition of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked
generation.

Evil has limited knowledge:

You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder.

of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
How enemy leads us to disobedience

Aggravation
John 13:2 – The evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted
Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray Jesus.
1 Corinthians 7:5 – Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a
time, so that you may devote yourself to prayer. Then come together again so that
satan will not tempt you because of lack of self-control.

Sickness and suffering

Acts 10:38 – How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power,
and how He went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the
devil, because God was with Him.
