NOTICE

Firmware Upgrade Instructions

(1) Before the update, make sure your device is turned OFF, and with at least 1/4 battery. (2) Youd better upgrade the device under Window XP System. (3) During upgrading, install the driver automatically when system requires.
1. The updating needs the following items: Update Tool, Firmware and USB Cable.

2. When you firstly update firmware, you need to install Update Tool into your computer. In folder Update Tool there are two files, Installation Package and Registry.

3. Double Click Installation Package to install the tool into your computer. Check the following pictures to view the installation process.

Step(1):

Click Next.

Step(2): Choose File Path first, then click Next.

Step(3): Click Next

Step(4): Successfully installed. Click Close to finish installation.

4. After finish installation, there will be a shortcut of the tool on the desktop, named PhoenixUSBPro.exe. Double click the shortcut to run the tool. 5. When you firstly use the tool, system will automatically run driver installation twice, just click N (next) to finish the driver installation. 6. Now you can use the tool, see following picture.

6.1 Click (1) in the above picture, and choose Registry. ( See item 2, registry is in Update Tool folder ) 6.2 Click (2) in the above picture, and choose Firmware, example: 97F2-D1-H1-M01-1410.20111208.img ( See item 2, firmware is in Firmware folder ) 6.3 Click (3) in the following picture.

6.5 After you finish all above operations, it is time to operate the device. 6.5.1 6.5.2 6.5.3 Before the update, make sure your device is turned OFF, and with at least 1/4 battery power. Hold pressing volume + button, dont loosen it, then connect the device to your computer by USB cable. Dont loosen volume +. Still hold pressing volume +, and press power button for ten times ( short press power ) , then you can loosen volume+.

. Now the device is updating. See following.

When the progross is 100%, the updating is finished. See following picture. Click Stop, and disconnect the device from computer.

7. After disconnect the device from computer, long press POWER button for over 10 secends, and then loosen it. 8. Now you can turn on your device by long press power button for 3 seconds. Please notice following items. 8.1 The first time after updating, the turning on time will be longer, dont worry it is normal. 8.2 When the device turns to homepage, do not operate the device for 10 minutes, because the device is installing applications. 8.3 After 10 minutes, you can use the device. We suggest you restart the device before using.
