RV Rental Agreement

This rental agreement (Agreement) is made effective as of _________, by and between ________________. (Owner) and ______________(Renter). DURATION: The rental period shall be from to . Renter must return the vehicle to our residence, on the date and time specified in this Agreement, and in the same condition that you received it, except for ordinary wear. CHARGES: Renter agrees to pay: a. Booking deposit of 25% of rental charges, due at reservation to secure your date. Booking deposit will be applied to total rental charges. Deposit is refundable is the reservation is canceled no less than 30 days in advance. After that time, half of the deposit will be returned, until 48 hours before the rental, in which case the deposit is non-refundable. b. Rental time, according to the following schedule: 1 night: $150 2 nights: $250 3 nights: $350 4 nights: $425 5 nights: $500 1 week: $600 Rates for other lengths of time will be negotiated between owner and renter. One night is defined as renter taking possession of the vehicle at 8:00 am and returning the vehicle at 5:00 pm the following day. Renter may take possession of the vehicle earlier (after 7 pm the night before) for an extra cost of $50. Renter may return the vehicle late (after 5 pm but before midnight) for an extra cost of $50. c. Mileage: The renter may drive the vehicle up to 200 miles, round trip, for no charge. After 200 miles, mileage will be charged at a rate of 30 cents per mile, payable upon return of the vehicle.

d. Fuel: Renter will receive the vehicle full of fuel and will return it in the same condition or will pay a refueling charge of $300. e. Cleaning and damages: Owner shall provide the vehicle in clean and operating condition. Service to the vehicle or replacement of parts during the rental must have owners prior approval. Renter must check and maintain all fluid levels and tire air pressure during the rental period. Renter will return the vehicle in the same condition, which includes emptying grey and black water tanks. Renter agrees to pay for any damage incurred during the rental period and/or the cost of professional cleaning, if necessary, with repair and/or cleaning services to be provided by owners choice of service provider. PERSONAL PROPERTY: Renter releases owner from all claims for loss of, or damages to, your personal property or that of any other person, that was left or carried in Vehicle. DRIVING RESTRICTIONS: The Vehicle shall not be driven outside the Continental United States. The Vehicle shall only be driven on paved roads. SMOKING: No smoking is allowed in the Vehicle. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in a charge for cleaning services. TOWING: The Vehicle is not allowed to tow any other vehicle or trailer. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS: The Vehicle can only be driven by an authorized driver 25 years of age or older possessing a valid and identifiable drivers license. All drivers must be covered under the Renters insurance and will be bound by the terms and conditions of this rental agreement.
