In this time when the world is rapidly growing in the 21st century, the concept of workforce diversity has become a significant business concern. In this age of IT, the greatest asset most of the businesses can make use of being that of Workforce diversity. Un uestionably, there is a talent warfare going on. !o business or organi"ation can afford to unreasonably restrict its aptitude to attract and hold on to the very best employees obtainable. The terminology, Workforce #iversity basically refers to the practices and policies that seek to include individuals within a workforce who are in some way or the other considered different from those in the e$isting constituency. How workforce diversity can be reflected is as under: A Social Responsibility %s there are several beneficiaries when it comes to the acceptable diversity practices and they are from such groups that are marked as &disadvantages' in our society, there are certainly some great reason to consider the aspect of workforce diversity as a practice in good corporate responsibility. Workforce diversity has been utili"ed as a great tool to effectively resolve problems, helps in rapidly adapting to new situations, identifying new opportunities and swiftly capitali"e on them. It helps with a wide range of e$perience, talent, insight, knowledge and imagination. /mart organi"ations take the concept of workforce diversity seriously and know it well how it can be beneficial for them and aid them in reaching their customer base more effectively.

*very organi"ation culture is deprived of the society's culture it prevails in and as a result the society culture has a great impact on the organi"ational culture. The organi"ation0s primary ob)ective is to come up with such goods and services are the re uirement of the society as per the cultural demands. The re uirements and norms of an agricultural society are completely different than that of an industrial society. +akistan is an %gricultural state and therefore, it has different cultural ethics than that of an industrial state. -ost people living in +akistan are directly or indirectly related to the profession of agriculture. 1or this reason, an organi"ation has to follow the norms of the cultures or society it operates in. *very culture is overlapped and shaped by the help of several other cultures especially with the broader culture of different societies in which it operates. There are two kinds of implicit and the e$plicit norms that can have a great impact on an organi"ational culture. The implicit norms are the ones that are unspoken and silent. /uch norms are not a part of the rules and regulations but are well accepted. *veryone in the organi"ation is re uired to respect these norms no matter they are at a senior or even at the )unior level. (n the other hand, respecting and obeying your seniors happens to be an e$plicit norm. The e$plicit norms, on the other hand are completely opposite to it. The employees are re uired to do their work on time. Whereas, an implicit norm is to work hard and honestly.
