Develops and implements programmes and methods to document the University.s human resource and administra! tion policies and informs employees accordingly. %aintains staff discipline and ensures that :ustice is done. >versees the administration of schemes of service# com! pensations and staff benefit schemes. $repares annual personnel emoluments budget proposals for the University for approval by relevant University or! gans. 1oordinates the performance appraisal systems for Univer! sity staff. Develops effective &% policies# plans and procedures for hiring# training# deployment# development# succession and retention of staff. 1arries out regular human resources audit and inventory of current and needed s*ills.
