0 Introduction
Explorace is an event that involves individual or group challenges. The participants could be tested on their physical and mental strength. The participants will have to explore the whole event area to look out for clues that could help them to move to the next location. The participant will also need to do some activities that preset by our committee to have their next clue. And these will surely not an easy task. This explorace is fully managed by the Diploma in Tourism Management students, hence we need to choose a venue that promote tourism product. The tourism product may include culture, eco tourism or even adventure. The main reason why we chose ZOO MELAKA as our event destination is to bring nature closer to the participants. And surely to promote ZOO MELAKA to the participants as, they are students that from other states and some international students. ZOO MELAKA is well known for their hospitality to the visitors and the animals too.

1.5 What is event management?


An event management is to co-ordinate, run and to plan of all the people, team and features that come together to create every kind of event. The purpose is the students have an experience on how to develop and implement financial initiatives based on event objectives through methods such as sponsorship programs, promotion and initiatives to create the activities.

2.0 Objectives
This event will be conducted by students of semester 4 and 5 from Diploma in Tourism Management. This event aims to ensure that students understand the importance of management and promotion of an event in an organization and how it should be managed in an efficient and professional manner to ensure the success of the event. The event wills portraits the importance of teamwork in a group and the participants will be challenged based on their physical and mental strengths.

3.0 Participants
Open for all the students who want to take part in the explorace, which are minimum 70 and maximum 100 people.

3.5 Learning Outcomes


- Acquire an understanding of the role and purposes of special events in organization and acquire understanding of the techniques and strategies to plan successful event. -Acquire knowledge and competencies required to promote, implement and conduct events
