DEEP FOREST COVER AGRO-FORESTRY 1450 ACRES

Concentrated on the Wind-facing sides of the project, they form an elliptical arc on mirroring sides and serve the under-
mentioned purposes.

1. As wind-breaks to protect the more delicate flora being cultivated in the interiors of the farms.
2. As regenerative wood-lands to cater to the captive and commercial timber needs.
3. As a haven for wild fauna and wild cultivation of game/wild plants of high commercial value as an inter-crop
option between the trees.
4. As regions for bee-raising/apiculture, both for captive pollination needs and commercially applicable apiculture as
part of the larger picture of organic agriculture.
5. To improve soil fertility and water retention.
6. As bases for micro-wind-electricity generation based on tree-top canopy installation of micro-wind-turbines.
7. For production of forest products like:
a. Herbal Medicines
b. Herbal Food supplements and additives
c. Wild Fruits and Berries
d. Gum
e. Bamboo
f. Aromatic Plants
g. Tendu Leaves
h. Honey

Our plan for this part of the project comprises of:

1. Planting Timber Plants of 20 year maturity over 50% of the total area under agro-forestry.
2. Interspersing the Timber Producing trees with herbs and shrubs, wild mushrooms, truffles and lots of medicinal
plants which need shade, humidity and a moist ground.
3. Bamboo Plantation in 10% of Forest cover.
4. Rubber Plantation 5% of Forest cover.
5. Fruit Trees 5% of Forest cover.
6. Commercial Non Timber Forest Cover 30% of Forest Cover.

Apart from the Flora component of this section, the Fauna will comprise of:

1. Wild Game Deer for recreational hunting.
2. Wild Buffalos and other animals for recreational hunting.
3. Wild Poultry and other game birds like Turkey, Emu, Ostrich, and many more.
4. Wild Boars and others as game meat.
5. Bees and Honey.
6. Many more species will be introduced with the passage of time.

Apart from all of the above, the following machinery will also be introduced:

1. Tree Top Micro-Wind Power Generation right on the wind facing edge, free-axial 1,000 nos 10 kw each
Totaling 10 MWh
2. Tree Top Nature Walks and Resort Capacity 500 pax 250 Tree Top Cottages.
3. Many more to be introduced with the passage of time and accrual of resources.
