Research Journalist Requirements: Must have access to the internet at all times Must be able to talk briefly in front of a small group Must be able to choose the most interesting topics Must maintain at least a C average grade No more than three Bad Days a quarter Duties: Must check the following sources before school starts: o CNN o MSNBC o FOX News o The Capital Gazette o CBS Baltimore Make a mental list of current events (sports, entertainment, world news, weather, etc.) Privilege: May have cell phone on desk at all times OR exemption from four homework grades 10. Marketing Guru Requirements: Must have an excellent memory Must be able to be creative with advertising Must maintain at least a C average grade No more than three Bad Days a quarter Duties: Remind students of upcoming school events (sports, drama, etc.) Remind students of homework, tests, and quizzes Privileges: May choose to end class five minutes early for announcements 11. Creative Requirements: Must be able to think outside the box. Duties: Find ways to make class more creative and inform Human Resource Director Privilege: Submit creative pieces of scenes from Huckleberry Finn for extra credit
