Job Summary
Seven's growth plans are predicated on investing $200 to $300 million annually across a portfolio of projects at varying life cycle stages. Gas supply for these projects is expected to come from our existing participation in the Uquo and Stubb Creek fields, 3rd party gas and new acquisitions. Seven Energys vision is to become the leading, independent E&P company in Nigeria and is currently screening opportunities to both invest and operate additional brownfield and exploration blocks. The Company now plans to add a Manager & Lead Engineer, Subsurface to our Lagos based team reporting organisationally to the Chief Operating Officer and functionally to the London-based Chief Technical officer. The Manager & Lead Engineer, Subsurface will be charged with building a high calibre team of engineers and geoscientists, then driving company growth by optimizing field developments to maximize reserves, recovery and production rates. Direct reports will include reservoir engineers, geologists and both geophysicists and petrophysicists, when it is timely to add these roles. The successful candidate is expected to play a major role the formulation of Company growth plans, so a commercial acumen is important. This exciting role will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to establish state of the art subsurface team, suited to Nigeria. The Company is looking for a high calibre and motivated individual to fill this critical role.
